FAQ
What is the most surprising fact about your body?
Two eyes, two ears and two nostrils are part of our bodies. We also have four limbs: a mouth, nose, penis, and four limbs. That's right, we have more than 50 parts of our bodies, but one thing is missing. A heart.
A heart is a pump that circulates blood throughout the body. The blood moves through the veins. It transports oxygen and nutrients to your cells. It also removes carbon dioxide.
Each minute, the heart pumps approximately 5 liters. This is equivalent of an adult drinking 2 to 3 cups of coffee each day.
Blood flows throughout the heart 24 hours per day, 365 Days a Year. While you are sleeping, your heart beats about 100 times per second.
Because of the color and texture of their skin, you can tell if someone is healthy or sick. You can see tiny blood vessels, called capillaries, when you look closely at the skin. These tiny vessels transport blood from the larger blood vessels to the heart. The skin turns blue or violet when blood flow becomes blocked.
Red blood cells are missing in people with sickle-cell disease. Their blood becomes extremely sticky and hardened, which can lead to very serious illnesses.
To stop bleeding from a cut, you can apply a bandage to the wound. Blood must continue to flow to allow the wounds to heal properly. To do this, doctors will insert a needle through your skin into the vein adjacent to the injury. This allows blood to drain from the area.
The doctor may also insert catheters (catheters), into the artery at the site of the blood clot. This helps to keep the patient alive until the blood clot disintegrates naturally.
Do you wonder how much trash is produced each day across the globe?
According to the United Nations, the average person produces over 2.5 pounds of daily waste. That adds up to over 25 billion pounds of garbage per year!
Most of this trash ends up in landfill dumps or incinerators. But what happens when those dumpsters get full? All that trash ends up being shipped out of country. It then gets dumped in foreign countries, polluting their ecosystems. However, now we know where all that trash goes. Mike Sexton is his name. He runs Waste Watchers, a company that monitors the movements of trucks carrying trash all across North America. Then he reports back to us about what happens next.
Sexton says he finds his job very satisfying. CNN asked Sexton if he thought it was a lot of fun. "We'll be following these big rigs through town. "Sexton started following truck driver almost 20 years back.
He stated, "I just fell in Love with It."
His favorite story involved a driver who pulled off at an abandoned gas station near Los Angeles. Sexton recalls, "The guy was searching for somewhere to put his loads." "He drove down the road to see this building. He pulled over and went in. "There was a pair of large, full-sized roll-off boxes. The man got everything out of the truck and began filling it up again. "Then he looked at the place and decided to unload everything. There were a bunch of old tires, rags, furniture, mattresses, boxes, bottles, cans, and whatever else. "It was just total chaos. But it had been cleaned before he arrived. There was not a single piece of trash.
This begs the question: Why? Well, the answer is that this particular location used to be part of a recycling center.People who learned about this facility would drive here to recycle their trash. Sexton explained that people would bring home their household items, and then take them to the building. After they were done, they would dispose of the empty containers.
This could happen hundreds of time per week. It could happen hundreds of thousands of times a week. The truck eventually stops running because it has become so jammed with junk. And eventually, the owner decides to abandon the vehicle.
Trash is not the only problem our planet faces.
These tiny plastic particles make up the majority of the particles. Some end up in incinerators or landfills. Others end up in rivers, oceans or the stomachss of fish.
Experts warn us that we may soon face an international food shortage if things don't change. One expert said, "If we keep going as we are going, we're never going to make it," but most people don’t seem concerned.
What is the most mysterious area on earth?
Antarctica is considered the most mysterious area on Earth.
Why do we find this place so intriguing? Because it's unlike any other place in the world.
It is isolated, remote, and very hard to visit. However, there's more to this location than meets the eye.
These wild animals are also found in this natural wonder.
Let's look at how this extraordinary destination became so mysterious.
Antarctica: The South Pole
Antarctica's name is a mystery. Some believe it is "land of the ice". Others believe it comes from Greek mythology.
Antarktis was an ancient Greek name that was given to the island where Zeus and his twin brothers, Zeus. According to one source, one of the twins was conceived in winter. The term antarctic is derived from this.
Others believe the name was derived from the Greek words tropos, which means turn, and anti, meaning against. This would signify land turned away the sun.
Whatever the reason Antarctica has always been a fascination for people.
It is the coldest, windiest, driest and highest continent. It is too cold for trees, plants and animals.
And yet, this frozen wasteland is teeming with life.
Here are about 90% of all the living creatures on Earth. Here are approximately 50% of all the animal and plant species in the world.
And what makes Antarctica such a unique environment? Here water freezes to ice and not evaporates into the atmosphere.
This causes large amounts of ice to float above ground.
These floating glaciers cover over 80%. They are growing in size every year.
The Antarctic ice has grown 60 feet so far since 1960.
The sea level will rise up to 200 feet if melting continues. That could cause massive flooding around the globe.
This does not mean that everyone is wrong. Some scientists believe that global warming can be beneficial. They claim that the melting of ice sheets could accelerate as temperatures rise. This would lead to flooding that removes tons of toxic chemicals and soil from our bodies.
Others warn that this theory sounds like something out of a science-fiction movie.
Is there a Hollywood blacklist of actors?
There is a Hollywood blacklist.
However, the list isn’t public. According to our knowledge, the names of these people aren't known. Here's why this matters.
The secret is because the directors and actors on blacklist wouldn't have any job opportunities. This would result in studios losing money as the actors and directors would have to go out on their own. Which means they'd cut back on spending money on movies. This would lead to fewer opportunities and less money for blacklisted directors. Which would lead them to go bankrupt.
This could mean more victims.
If someone attempts to make an Oscar-winning movie, they may be asked to sign a contract stating that they will not speak out against their employers. This applies to any producer or director who wishes to be nominated.
That's why you hear stories about how producers pressure directors to remove scenes from their films. Or directors threaten to walk out of projects that don’t match their vision.
This is why Hollywood keeps a blacklist. If you are negative about your employer, you'll most likely go unemployed. That's bad for everyone.
Many people have been wrongly accused. They have had to fight for their freedom.
This is unacceptable behavior and must be stopped. Everyone should have the right to speak freely.
So we need to take down the Hollywood blacklist.
