FAQ
What are some dark secrets in Hollywood?
Hollywood is filled with secret societies. Many secret societies are cult-like and follow rigid rules. Others are just clubs for people with common interests.
But there are also more nefarious organizations that control much of the industry. These include companies like the MPAA ("Motion Picture Association of America"), which determines film ratings. The RIAA ("Recording Industry Association of America") sets music licensing fees.
Numerous unions or guilds also represent producers, writers, actors, etc. These large corporations control the majority of major film studios and television networks.
The fact is that regardless of how secretive any group may be, someone somewhere knows exactly who they are. We shouldn't fear these people.
Instead, we should embrace them. Because they help us make better choices.
These people tell us what movies and songs will succeed, and which books will sell best.
They allow us to make informed decisions about what we buy, watch and listen to.
We can trust them and can disregard their advice if it is not in line with our preferences.
And because we've chosen to ignore them, they become even more powerful. They are the supreme arbiters of taste.
And if you don't like what they say, you're free to ignore them.
Let's now look at some lesser-known, but still very real Hollywood secret organizations.
You'll see why they are so important.
Did you know that there are approximately 1.6 billion metric tons of trash produced every day in the world?
The United Nations estimates that the average person generates more than 2.5 pounds of waste each day. This adds up to over 25 million pounds of garbage annually!
Many of this trash ends in landfill dumps, or incinerators. But what happens if those dumpsters are full? Most of that trash is shipped out of the country. The trash is then sent out of the country and dumped in countries where it pollutes ecosystems. But, one man has now discovered exactly where this rubbish goes. Mike Sexton is his real name. He is the owner of Waste Watchers. His job involves monitoring the movements and routes of trash trucks across North America. He then reports back about what happens next.
Sexton states that he finds his work very fulfilling. CNN's Sexton said, "We have a lot to enjoy." "We see these big trucks coming through town, so we'll keep following them. "Sexton started following truck drivers nearly 20 years ago.
"It's all I felt," he stated.
His favorite story is about a driver that pulled into an abandoned gas station just outside Los Angeles. Sexton described, "The guy was looking somewhere to put his load." "He drove down the street and saw this building. So he backed up and went inside. "There were two huge roll-off containers there filled with stuff. The man got everything out of the truck and began filling it up again. He then looked around and decided to load everything. There were many old tires, furniture, rags and mattresses. "It was a complete mess. But it was cleaned out before he came. There wasn't any trash."
So why did this happen? Well, the answer is that this particular location used to be part of a recycling center.People who learned about this facility would drive here to recycle their trash. Sexton explained that they would bring household items and take them to the building. Then, after they were done, they would empty the containers.
This can happen hundreds of times a week. This can happen hundreds of times a week.Eventually, the truck becomes so overloaded with junk that it stops running. The owner eventually abandons the vehicle.
Trash isn’t the only problem we face on the planet.
The majority of these particles are made of small pieces of plastic. Some end up in rivers and oceans, while others end up in fish's stomachs.
Experts warn that the world may soon face a shortage of food if we don't make any changes. Experts warn that if we continue to go the same way, we won't make it. However, scientists and most people aren't worried.
What is the most surprising fact about your body?
There are two eyes, two ears. Two nostrils. Four limbs. A mouth, nose and penis. It's true, we have more 50 parts of our body, but there is one thing missing. A heart.
The heart is a pump which circulates blood throughout the body. The blood travels through the veins and arteries, transporting oxygen and nutrients to cells. It also removes carbon dioxide.
The heart pumps out about 5 liters per minute. This amount is equivalent to an adult drinking 2-3 cups of coffee daily.
The heart pumps blood 24 hours a days, 365 days per year. Your heart beats nearly 100 times a minute while sleeping.
Skin color can be used to determine if someone has a medical condition. Looking closely at the skin's surface, you can see tiny blood vessels called capillaries. These vessels carry blood away to the heart via the large blood vessels. The skin turns blue or violet when blood flow becomes blocked.
Red blood cells are missing in people with sickle-cell disease. Their blood becomes sticky and hardens, causing them to become very ill.
Bandages are used to stop bleeding after you have cut yourself. Blood must flow in order for the wound to heal properly. Doctors place a needle in the wound and insert it through the skin. This allows the blood to drain from the injured area.
Doctors can also insert catheters into the artery close to the area where the bloodclot has formed. This helps to keep the patient alive until the blood clot disintegrates naturally.
Why do actors get blacklisted?
Actors are more likely to be rejected than writers. You will likely be rejected many times if you are an actor. But it doesn't matter because eventually, you'll find someone who loves you.
Actors are often very talented and can make a living anywhere. But most actors don't want to make a lot of money. Actors love acting and storytelling. You'll be an actor if you love acting.
Sometimes you may be told by the audition panel that you are too young, too old, or wrong for the role. Or you might audition for a movie and lose out to another person. That happens a lot.
Once you've been cast you might also be subject to criticism. You may be told that your makeup is too heavy or you are not worthy of wearing it. If you're lucky, you won't even hear negative comments.
Sometimes, your performance as a fictional character can be ridiculed. You might play a gay man and everyone assumes that you are straight. You could also play a woman with a tendency to cry a lot, even though she's supposed to be tough.
You might be asked to change the sound of your voice. Sometimes they ask you to sound like a guy or a girl. They will usually ask you to sound better.
To ignore criticisms is the best way to respond. Actors can feel like they have failed when they are told they did something wrong. The truth is they haven’t done anything wrong.
They just weren't born with the talent that made them famous. And sometimes, no matter how hard they try, they don't fit the bill.
Blacklisting an actor could be for many reasons. Some people don't like actors. Others believe actors are lazy. Others believe actors cheat.
It doesn't matter what reason it may be, you won’t be banned if you keep trying. There are plenty of roles out there, and you'll find them.
Keep trying and you will eventually succeed.
