FAQ

Have you ever wondered what amount of trash is generated each day worldwide?

The United Nations states that an average person produces more than 2.5 pounds of waste per day. That's over 25 billion pounds of garbage each year!

Most of this rubbish ends up in landfills or incinerators. But, what happens when those dumpsters fill up? All that trash ends up being shipped out of country. The rest is dumped abroad, where it pollutes other ecosystems. Now, we know the exact location of all this garbage. Mike Sexton is his nickname. He runs Waste Watchers, a company that monitors the movements of trucks carrying trash all across North America. Then he reports back to us about what happens next.

Sexton says he finds his job very satisfying. "We've got a lot of fun," he told CNN. "You know, we see these big rigs come through town, and we'll follow them. "Sexton began following truckers almost 20 year ago.

He said, "I fell in love with it."

His favorite story is about a driver that pulled into an abandoned gas station just outside Los Angeles. "The guy was looking for someplace to put his load," Sexton recalled. "He drove down the street and saw this building. He stopped and pulled up, then he went inside. "There were 2 large containers that had been rolled off, and they were full of stuff. The man removed everything from the truck and started to load it again. "Then, he took everything out and started filling up the truck again. There were old tires and rags, furniture pieces, mattresses, mattresses and boxes. It was a complete mess. But it had been cleared out before he arrived. There wasn't any trash anywhere."

So why did this happen? This particular spot used to be a recycling center. People would drive there to recycle their trash. Sexton explained that they would bring household items and take them to the building. Then, after they were done, they would empty the containers.

Now, because of the way the law works, once a container reaches its destination, it cannot be opened. So no matter how often someone takes something out of it, the thing will never be emptied.Every time the truck comes by, it has to start over again. The truck can be stopped running if it is so full of junk that it has to come back hundreds of times per week. And eventually, the owner decides to abandon the vehicle.

Trash is not the only problem our planet faces.

These tiny plastic particles make up the majority of the particles. Some end up in incinerators or landfills. Some end up in rivers and oceans, while others end up in fish's stomachs.

Experts warn us that we may soon face an international food shortage if things don't change. Experts warn that "if we keep going the way we are, we're not going make it," although scientists agree that the world is heading toward disaster. Most people, however, don't seem to be concerned.

What is the most intriguing fact about the human anatomy?

Two eyes, two ears, 2 nostrils, 4 limbs, 1 nose, 1 penis and one mouth are all there. It's true, we have more 50 parts of our body, but there is one thing missing. A heart.

A heart is a pump that circulates blood throughout the body. The blood moves through the veins. It transports oxygen and nutrients to your cells. It also removes carbon dioxide.

Each minute, the heart pumps approximately 5 liters. This is equivalent of an adult drinking 2 to 3 cups of coffee each day.

The blood flows throughout the heart 24/7, 365 days a calendar. Your heart beats nearly 100 times a minute while sleeping.

Because of the color and texture of their skin, you can tell if someone is healthy or sick. If you examine the skin closely, you will see tiny blood vessels called capillaries. These tiny vessels transport blood from the larger blood vessels to the heart. The skin turns purple or blue when there is a blockage in blood flow.

Red blood cells are missing in people with sickle-cell disease. Their blood becomes extremely sticky and hardened, which can lead to very serious illnesses.

A bandage can be used to stop bleeding if you have cut your own skin. Blood must flow in order for the wound to heal properly. Doctors will insert a needle under the skin to access the vein near the injury. This allows blood drainage from the injury area.

Doctors can also insert catheters into the artery close to the area where the bloodclot has formed. This helps to keep the patient alive until the blood clot disintegrates naturally.

How does the brain regulate the functions of the body?

The brain relays messages to other parts of the body to ensure their functionality. Everything that happens within your body is controlled by the brain. It tells your stomach to digest food and your lungs to breathe air; it tells your arms and legs to move.

Your brain is composed of billions and billions nerve cells, connected in groups called neurons. Action potentials are electrical signals that neurons send to one another. Each neuron has a cell membrane surrounding its nucleus. Channels within the membrane allow ions such potassium and sodium to enter and leave the cells. Ion movement is what causes the neurons to fire.

Neurotransmitters, chemical substances that are released when a neuron fires. Neurotransmitters are able to bind to receptors in the second neuron. This opens ion channels that allow ions to flow in and out. As a result, the second neuron fires too.

When another neuron sends an impulse to the presynaptic neural cell, neurotransmitter is released. The impulse travels along an synapse between the neurons. The transmitter binds at the receptors of the post-synaptic Neuron and triggers its firing.

Communication within the nervous system is possible thanks to neurotransmitters. They also coordinate activity between different brain parts.

Why are actors blacklisted?

An actor is more likely to get rejected than a writer. As an actor, it's likely that you will be rejected a lot. But it doesn't matter because eventually, you'll find someone who loves you.

Actors have a lot of talent, so they can make a decent living almost anywhere. Most actors don't care about making money. Actors love acting, and love telling stories. Actors are likely to be outspoken.

Even worse, you might be told you are too young or too old to play the part. Or, you could lose out on a role in a movie. This happens all the time.

However, once you have been cast, it is possible to face criticism. People will tell you that you look terrible or shouldn't be wearing makeup. If you're lucky, you won't even hear negative comments.

Sometimes it's because you play a character that's not realistic or authentic. Maybe you play a gay man, and everyone thinks you're straight. Or maybe you play a woman who is supposed to be tough, but she cries a lot.

Maybe you are asked to change your vocal chords. Sometimes they ask for you to sound like a male or female. Most times, though, they want you to sound better.

Negative criticisms are best ignored. Actors often feel like they've failed if they're told they did something wrong. The truth is they haven’t done anything wrong.

They weren't born with the talents that made them famous. Sometimes, no matter what they do, they just don't fit the bill.

There are many reasons an actor might be blacklisted. Some people don't like actors. Others believe actors are lazy. Others think actors are lazy.

No matter what the reason, you won't be blacklisted if your persistence persists. There are plenty of roles out there, and you'll find them.

As long as you keep trying, you'll eventually succeed.
