FAQ
What dark secrets are there in Hollywood?
Hollywood is full secret societies. Some are cult-like groups where members follow strict rules and rituals, while others are simply clubs for those who share common interests.
Some of the most powerful organizations in the industry are even more dangerous. These include the MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America), the organization that sets film ratings and RIAA(Recording Industry Association of America), the company that sets music licensing fees.
Numerous unions and guilds also represent actors, directors, writers, producers, etc. Large corporations own most major studios and networks of television.
It is obvious that, no matter how secretive or obtuse a group appears, someone knows exactly what they do. They shouldn't be fearful, however.
Instead, we should embrace and celebrate them. Because they can help us make better decisions.
These experts tell us which movies are most likely to succeed, which songs will be in demand, and what books will sell the best.
They are, in short, what help us choose what we will watch, read and listen too.
We can trust them and can disregard their advice if it is not in line with our preferences.
They are more powerful than ever because we chose to ignore them. They are the supreme arbiters of taste.
You are free to ignore their messages if that bothers you.
Let's now look at some lesser-known, but still very real Hollywood secret organizations.
And see why they're so important.
Do you wonder how much trash is produced each day across the globe?
According to the United Nations there are more than 25 billion tons of garbage produced each year.
Most of this trash ends up in landfill dumps or incinerators. But what happens when those dumpsters get full? All that trash ends up being shipped out of country. It is then dumped in other countries, where it pollutes their ecosystems. But now, thanks to the work of one man, we know exactly where all this trash goes. His name is Mike Sexton. He runs Waste Watchers, a company that monitors the movements of trucks carrying trash all across North America. He reports back to us about the next steps.
Sexton stated that he finds the job very satisfying. CNN interviewed Sexton and said that he has a lot of fun. "You know, we see these big rigs come through town, and we'll follow them. "Sexton started following truck driver almost 20 years back.
He said, "I fell in love with it."
His favorite story is about a driver that pulled into an abandoned gas station just outside Los Angeles. Sexton said that the man was searching for a place to store his stuff. "He drove down the road to see this building. He backed up and entered the building. "There were 2 large containers that had been rolled off, and they were full of stuff. The guy took everything out and started filling up the truck again. "Then he looked at the place and decided to unload everything. There were lots of old tires, rags furniture, mattresses, mattresses, cans, cans, and other items. "It was just a total mess. But it had been cleared out before he arrived. There wasn't any trash anywhere."
Why did this happen? Well, the answer is that this particular location used to be part of a recycling center.People who learned about this facility would drive here to recycle their trash. Sexton explained that they would bring household items and take them to the building. Then, after they were done, they would empty the containers.
It can happen hundreds of thousands of times per week. It could happen hundreds of thousands of times a week. The truck eventually stops running because it has become so jammed with junk. The owner eventually abandons the vehicle.
Trash isn’t the only problem we face on the planet.
Most of these particles are made up of tiny pieces of plastic. Some of these plastics end up in landfills or incinerators. Others end up in rivers, oceans or the stomachss of fish.
Experts warn that if there is no change, the world could soon be facing a food shortage. Experts warn that "if we keep going the way we are, we're not going make it," although scientists agree that the world is heading toward disaster. Most people, however, don't seem to be concerned.

Is there a Hollywood blacklist of actors?
There is a Hollywood blacklist.
But the list isn't made public. We don't know the names. It matters because of this.
The secret is because the directors and actors on blacklist wouldn't have any job opportunities. So they'd go out of business, which means that the studios would lose money. This would mean that they would cut back on movie production. This would lead to fewer opportunities and less money for blacklisted directors. They would then go bankrupt.
This could lead to more victims.
When someone tries making an Oscar winning movie they might be asked for a contract. This means that they can't publicly criticize their employer. Producers and directors who want to be nominated are subject to the same restrictions.
Producers often pressure directors to cut scenes from their films. Directors threaten to abandon projects that don’t conform to their vision.
This is why Hollywood keeps a blacklist. You'll likely become unemployed if you say bad things about your employer. And that's not good for anyone.
The problem is that many people have been falsely accused. They've had the toil to clear their name.
This kind of thing must stop before it can happen again. Everyone should have the right to speak freely.
Also, we must take down the Hollywood blacklist.
