Sexton claims he is very satisfied with his job. CNN interviewed Sexton and said that he has a lot of fun. "We see these big trucks coming through town, so we'll keep following them. "Sexton started following truck drivers nearly 20 years ago.
He stated, "I just fell in Love with It."
He loved the story of the driver who pulled into an abandoned gas station near Los Angeles. "The guy was looking for someplace to put his load," Sexton recalled. "He drove down the street and saw this building. He pulled over and went in. "There were two enormous roll-off containers filled with stuff. The man removed everything from the truck and started to load it again. "Then he took out everything and began to fill up the truck. There were old tires and rags, furniture pieces, mattresses, mattresses and boxes. "It was just a total mess. It had been cleaned up before he arrived. There was not a single piece of trash.
So why did this happen? This particular spot used to be a recycling center. People would drive there to recycle their trash. "They'd bring their household items and take them to this building," Sexton explained.And after they finished, they would leave the empty containers behind.
Now, because of the way the law works, once a container reaches its destination, it cannot be opened.So no matter how often someone takes something out of it, the thing will never be emptied.Every time the truck comes by, it has to start over again. This can happen hundreds of times a week.Eventually, the truck becomes so overloaded with junk that it stops running. And eventually, the owner decides to abandon the vehicle.
Trash is not the only problem our planet faces.
