Secrets of White House

weird and creepy facts

The White House has a secret tunnel. The tunnel was built in the 18th century as a way to transport water away from the house. It was eventually integrated into the water closets by President Jefferson. It was a large chamber with plastered walls, a deep gravel and sand bed on which to flush. James Hoban, an 1801 man, created an elevation of the tunnel's inside. The interior featured arched ceilings, plastered walls and a sand floor.

Presidents have occupied rooms

There are two secret rooms in the White House. The Solarium, and the Game Room are both on the top floors. The Solarium was a popular venue for bridge parties and kindergarten parties for Mamie Eisenhower and Caroline Kennedy, and later served as a study room for the Clintons. It is also where Richard Nixon made his resignation and Nancy Reagan received the news of her husband's tragic death. The rooms have been occupied from George Washington through Barack Obama.

Recordings of White House conversations

There's no question that the Secret Service has made some recordings of conversations held in the White House. In the 1970s the White House installed tape recorders. Charles W. Colson (ex-White House aide) and Dean recorded conversations in their offices and on phones.

Location of the Oval Office

The Oval Office (or Oval Office) is a room within the White House that is used as the centrepiece of presidential activity. This room is home to the President, his staff and dignitaries. Although it is not directly connected, the office is part of West Wing. This room is used by the president to meet with foreign leaders and senior staff members, as well as for official business.

FAQ

What is the most fascinating fact about the human body

Two eyes, two ears and two nostrils are part of our bodies. We also have four limbs: a mouth, nose, penis, and four limbs. That's right, we have more than 50 parts of our bodies, but one thing is missing. A heart.

The heart is a pump that circulates blood throughout your body. The blood moves through the arteries and veins to transport oxygen and nutrients into the cells, and remove carbon dioxide.

Each minute, the heart pumps approximately 5 liters. This is equivalent in daily coffee consumption to an adult who consumes approximately 2 to 3 cups.

The heart pumps blood 24 hours a days, 365 days per year. While sleeping, your heart beats close to 100 times per minute.

Because of the color and texture of their skin, you can tell if someone is healthy or sick. You can see tiny blood vessels, called capillaries, when you look closely at the skin. These small vessels carry blood from the large blood vessel in the skin back towards the heart. The skin becomes blue-colored or purple when blood flow is restricted.

Red blood cells are missing in people with sickle-cell disease. Their blood becomes sticky and hardens, causing them to become very ill.

If you cut yourself, a bandage is applied to stop the bleeding. Blood must continue to flow to allow the wounds to heal properly. To do this, doctors will insert a needle through your skin into the vein adjacent to the injury. This allows blood to drain from the area.

Doctors also insert tubes (catheters) into the artery near the site where the blood clot forms. This keeps the patient alive till the blood clot dissolves naturally.

Why are actors blacklisted?

As an actor, rejection is much more common than for writers. As an actor, it's likely that you will be rejected a lot. It doesn't matter if you get rejected a lot because eventually you'll meet someone you love.

Actors are typically very talented and can earn a living virtually anywhere. But most actors don't want to make a lot of money. They love acting, and they love telling stories. It's likely that you will be acting if your passion is acting.

You might even go to auditions where you're told that you're too old, too young, or not right for the role. Or, you could lose out on a role in a movie. That happens a lot.

After you've been cast, there may be criticism. People may tell you that your makeup looks terrible and you shouldn't use it. If you're lucky, you won't even hear negative comments.

Sometimes your character isn't real or authentic and you will be criticised. Maybe you play a gay man, and everyone thinks you're straight. Maybe you are a woman who is tough but cries often.

Sometimes, they ask you to change your voice. Sometimes, they will ask you to sound more like a woman or a man. They usually want you sound better.

These criticisms should be ignored. Actors can feel like they have failed when they are told they did something wrong. They haven't done any wrong.

They just weren't born with the talent that made them famous. And sometimes, no matter how hard they try, they don't fit the bill.

An actor can be blacklisted for many reasons. Some people don't like actors. Others believe actors are lazy. Others think actors are lazy.

Whatever the reason, it's important to realize that you will not get blacklisted if you keep trying. There are many opportunities for you to find your role.

If you persevere, you will eventually succeed.

What are some dark secrets in Hollywood?

Hollywood is full of secret societies. Many secret societies are cult-like and follow rigid rules. Others are just clubs for people with common interests.

But there are also more nefarious organizations that control much of the industry. These include companies like the MPAA ("Motion Picture Association of America"), which determines film ratings. The RIAA ("Recording Industry Association of America") sets music licensing fees.

Many unions and guilds represent actors, directors writers, producers, and others. Many of the major TV networks and movie studios are owned or controlled by large corporations.

It is obvious that, no matter how secretive or obtuse a group appears, someone knows exactly what they do. But we don't have to fear them.

Instead, we should embrace and celebrate them. Because they give us information that allows us to make better decisions.

They can tell us which movies and songs are likely to be successful, as well as what books and novels will be most popular.

These help us to decide what we'll watch, read, listen, and buy.

We can trust our advisors and ignore advice that isn't in accord with our tastes.

And because we've chosen to ignore them, they become even more powerful. They become the ultimate arbiters of taste.

If you don't like their words, you can choose to ignore them.

So now let's look at some of the lesser-known but still very real Hollywood secret societies.

And see why they're so important.

Is there any Hollywood blacklist for actors?

There is a Hollywood blacklist.

The list isn’t available for public viewing. According to our knowledge, the names of these people aren't known. This is why it matters.

The secretive nature of the information is due to the fact that actors and directors on blacklist won't be in a position to find work. So they'd go out of business, which means that the studios would lose money. That would result in a reduction in spending on movies. That would reduce the opportunities for blacklisted filmmakers. They would then go bankrupt.

This could lead to more victims.

In other words, if someone is trying to make an Oscar winning movie, they might have to sign a contract that says they won't speak openly against their employers. Producers and directors who want to be nominated are subject to the same restrictions.

Producers often pressure directors to cut scenes from their films. Directors might threaten to leave projects that don't reflect their vision.

This is why Hollywood has created a blacklist. If you make negative comments about your employer, it's likely that you will be unemployed. This is not good news for anyone.

It is not uncommon for people to be falsely accused. It's been a struggle to get their names cleared.

This is unacceptable behavior and must be stopped. Everybody should be able to freely express themselves.

So we need to take down the Hollywood blacklist.

How To

Hollywood scandals that shocked the world

Nothing is more shocking that seeing someone be famous for their wrong reasons. But there's also nothing worse than seeing them fall from grace.

It's fascinating to see how industries react to their mistakes. Many celebrities have used alcohol and drugs in excess. Some even died young because of it.

The worst thing is when these stars are made public about their problems and shunned. This is where we ended up last week.

Heath Ledger gave up after a long career that was successful. He overdosed on prescription pills, and after a brief battle with death, he passed away.

His family and close friends had difficulty accepting his death. The media took to him publically.

Heath was once regarded as one of the best actors today. His performances in Brokeback Mountain earned Heath two Academy Award nominations.

Heath not only acted, but also wrote and directed films including A Knight's Tale. Monster's Ball. Iron Man.

Hollywood loved Heath, however he soon grew too big for his good looks. He started to use drugs and drink heavily. He was eventually able to get clean and went to rehab.

Now that he was sober, he wanted to make amends. So he made a documentary called "Room 237," which chronicled the making of The Shining. It was supposed that it would be released this year but it won't make its debut in theaters until next.

Heath was unsuccessful in his attempts to get back into Hollywood. In fact, Heath was twice arrested on drug charges.

While we aren't saying Heath shouldn't have been allowed back in the show business, It would have been nice for him to have received some assistance before things spiraled outof control.

We hope Heath's story will serve as a warning to others who may think they can still have everything.
