FAQ

Do you wonder how much trash is produced each day across the globe?

The United Nations estimates that the average person generates more than 2.5 pounds of waste each day. This adds up to over 25 million pounds of garbage annually!

Most of this rubbish ends up in landfills or incinerators. But, what happens when those dumpsters fill up? The majority of this rubbish is sent out of the country. It is then shipped out and dumped in other countries. This pollutes the ecosystems. But now we know, thanks to one man. Mike Sexton is his name. He is the owner of Waste Watchers. His job involves monitoring the movements and routes of trash trucks across North America. Then he reports back to us about what happens next.

Sexton stated that he finds the job very satisfying. CNN spoke with Sexton that they have a lot fun. "We see big rigs coming through town and we'll follow them. "Sexton started following truck drivers nearly 20 years ago.

"I just fell in love with it," he said.

He loved the story of the driver who pulled into an abandoned gas station near Los Angeles. Sexton remembered, "The man was looking for somewhere to put the load." "He drove down the street and saw this building. He pulled over and went in. "There were two enormous roll-off containers filled with stuff. The man got everything out of the truck and began filling it up again. "The man looked around the area and decided to unload all of it. There were tires, rags. furniture, mattresses. boxes, bottles, cans. "It was a complete mess. But it was cleaned out before he came. There wasn't any trash anywhere."

So why did this happen? This particular spot used to be a recycling center. People would drive there to recycle their trash. Sexton explained that people would bring home their household items, and then take them to the building. After they were done, they would dispose of the empty containers.

This can happen hundreds of times a week. The truck can be stopped running if it is so full of junk that it has to come back hundreds of times per week. The owner eventually decides to dump the truck.

However, trash is not the only problem on our planet.

These tiny plastic particles make up the majority of the particles. Some end up in incinerators or landfills. Others get washed into rivers or oceans. And when they reach the ocean, they often end up in the stomachs of fish.

Experts warn that the world may soon face a shortage of food if we don't make any changes. Experts warn, "If you keep going like you're going," we could soon face a global food shortage. But most people don't seem to be worried, even though scientists are unanimous in warning us that the world is heading towards disaster.

Is there a Hollywood blacklist?

There is a Hollywood blacklist.

However, the list isn’t public. According to our knowledge, the names of these people aren't known. It matters because of this.

The secretive nature of the information is due to the fact that actors and directors on blacklist won't be in a position to find work. They would go out of business which would mean that studios would lose their money. That would result in a reduction in spending on movies. This would lead to fewer opportunities and less money for blacklisted directors. They would then go bankrupt.

Which could ultimately result in more victims.

In other words, if someone is trying to make an Oscar winning movie, they might have to sign a contract that says they won't speak openly against their employers. This applies to any producer or director who wishes to be nominated.

You hear stories of directors being pressured to remove scenes from films. Directors threaten to abandon projects that don’t conform to their vision.

This is why Hollywood has a blacklist. If you make negative comments about your employer, it's likely that you will be unemployed. This is bad news for anyone.

The problem is that many people have been falsely accused. They've had the toil to clear their name.

We need to stop this kind of thing before it starts happening again. Everybody should be able to freely express themselves.

We need to get rid of Hollywood's blacklist.

What is the most secretive place in the world, and why?

The answer to that question may shock you. This may make you feel uncomfortable as it challenges your perception of reality and the way we live. There is a reason this place exists and it's not as you might expect.

It was also called the City of God in ancient Greek. It was also known as the City of Destruction according to the Bible.

It's also known as Kashi (Kashmir) in India. It is called Novgorod (Russia).

But here in America, it goes by another name - The Town That Disappeared.

One tiny town in western New York State lost its 1,200 inhabitants without trace. A road sign pointing to the former location of the town was all that was left, except for a few bodies and cars.

This little community vanished and no trace remains to indicate where or when it disappeared. Some believe it was swallowed by the earth. Others claim a meteorite strike destroyed it. Some believe that it was taken by aliens.

Despite what may have happened, the people who lived in this once-thriving area are confident that their town will not be lost forever. They had just moved from one town to the other.

You can even track the disappearance of Zugspitz on a dedicated website.

The question is, where did this place go? It's actually in Switzerland!

Zugspitze lies on the border between Austria and Germany. Lake Zugspitze can be found just beyond the summit.

It has always fascinated my that so many towns have disappeared but others still exist. Why is it that some disappear while others live on? I set out to find out.

I was curious about the disappearing towns. What causes a community to disappear? How can one place become extinct?

It turned out that there are many theories about disappearing towns. One theory says that a town disappears when all the buildings are demolished. Another theory states that the town simply moves to another location. A third theory states that the town didn't exist at all.

No matter what theories you may have, there is no doubt that many towns across the globe were swallowed by the ground. This video examines the past and present status of these areas.

What dark secrets can Hollywood keep from you?

Hollywood is full secret societies. There are many secret societies in Hollywood. Some are cult-like, where members adhere to strict rules and rituals. Others are clubs for people who share similar interests.

Some of the most powerful organizations in the industry are even more dangerous. Companies such as the MPAA, which determines film ratings, or the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America), that set music licensing fees, are examples of these.

Numerous unions/guilds also represent actors and directors as well as writers, producers, and so forth. Many of the major TV networks and movie studios are owned or controlled by large corporations.

It doesn't really matter how secretive an organization may appear, there is always someone who knows exactly what they do. But we don't have to fear them.

Instead, we should embrace them. Because they give us information that allows us to make better decisions.

These experts tell us which movies are most likely to succeed, which songs will be in demand, and what books will sell the best.

In short, they help us decide what we'll buy, watch, read, and listen to.

Because we can trust them, we can ignore their advice when it conflicts with our tastes.

Because we have chosen to ignore their power, they are even more powerful. They are the supreme arbiters of taste.

And if you don't like what they say, you're free to ignore them.

Let's now look at some lesser-known, but still very real Hollywood secret organizations.

And you'll understand why they're so crucial.
