FAQ

Did you know that there are approximately 1.6 billion metric tons of trash produced every day in the world?

According to the United Nations the average person creates more than 2.5 lbs of waste daily. That adds up over 25 billion kilos of garbage every year.

Many of this trash ends in landfill dumps, or incinerators. But what happens if those dumpsters are full? Where does all that rubbish go?Well, most of it gets shipped out of the country. The trash is then sent out of the country and dumped in countries where it pollutes ecosystems. But, one man has now discovered exactly where this rubbish goes. Mike Sexton is his nickname. He is the founder of Waste Watchers. He watches over trucks that transport trash across North America. He then gives us a report on what happens next.

Sexton said he enjoys his job. CNN spoke with Sexton that they have a lot fun. "You know, we see these big rigs come through town, and we'll follow them. "Sexton started following truck drivers nearly 20 years ago.

He stated that he fell in love with the product.

He loved the story of the driver who pulled into an abandoned gas station near Los Angeles. Sexton recalls, "The guy was searching for somewhere to put his loads." "He drove along the road and saw this structure. So he backed up and went inside. "There were two large roll-off containers full of stuff. The guy took everything out and started filling up the truck again. He then looked around and decided to load everything. There were tires, rags. furniture, mattresses. boxes, bottles, cans. "It was a complete mess. But it had been cleaned before he arrived. There was not a single piece of trash.

This is the reason why it happened. The answer is that this location was once part of a recycling facility. People who knew about it would drive to this location to recycle their garbage. Sexton explained that they would bring household items and take them to the building. Then, after they were done, they would empty the containers.

This could happen hundreds of time per week. It could happen hundreds of thousands of times a week. The truck eventually stops running because it has become so jammed with junk. The owner eventually decides to dump the truck.

However, trash is not the only problem on our planet.

Most of these particles are made up of tiny pieces of plastic. Some of these plastics end up in landfills or incinerators. Some are washed into rivers and oceans. Others end up with fish in their stomachs.

Experts warn of a possible global food crisis if nothing is done. Experts warn that if we continue to go the same way, we won't make it. However, scientists and most people aren't worried.

Is there an Hollywood blacklist?

There is a Hollywood blacklist.

The list is not made public. We don't know the names. But here's why it matters.

The reason for the secrecy is that the blacklisted actors and directors wouldn't be able to find jobs. This would result in studios losing money as the actors and directors would have to go out on their own. They would also cut back on their spending on movies. That would reduce the opportunities for blacklisted filmmakers. They could go bankrupt.

This could lead to more victims.

In other words, if someone is trying to make an Oscar winning movie, they might have to sign a contract that says they won't speak openly against their employers. Any director or producer who would like to be nominated for an award is subject to the same rules.

This is why you'll hear about directors being pressured by producers to take scenes out of their films. Or how directors threaten to walk away from projects that don't fit their vision.

This is why Hollywood keeps a blacklist. You'll likely become unemployed if you say bad things about your employer. This is not good news for anyone.

Many people have been wrongly accused. These people have had to fight to clear their names.

This kind of thing must stop before it can happen again. Everybody should be able to freely express themselves.

We need to get rid of Hollywood's blacklist.

Which is the most mysterious spot on Earth?

Antarctica is the world's most mysterious place on Earth.

We find this place so fascinating. Because it is unlike any place on Earth.

It is difficult to access because it is remote and extremely isolated. But there is more to this site than meets the eye.

These wild animals are also found in this natural wonder.

So let's explore how this remarkable destination became famous for its mystery.

Antarctica: The South Pole

Antarctica's name is a mystery. Some believe it is "land of the ice". Some believe it means "land of ice". Others believe it is Greek mythology.

Antarktis in ancient Greece was the name given the island where Zeus' twin brother brothers were born. According to one source, one of the twins was conceived in winter. Hence, the word antarctic.

Others believe that the name comes from the Greek words anti meaning against and tropos meaning to turn. This would signify land turned away the sun.

Whatever the reason Antarctica has always been a fascination for people.

It is the highest, coldest, windiest, dryest, and most populated continent. Because it is so cold, there aren't any trees, plants or animals.

Yet, this frozen wasteland is alive.

Here, 90 percent live of all species of living things. It is home to approximately half of all world's animal and plant species.

What is it that makes Antarctica so unique? Here water freezes to ice and not evaporates into the atmosphere.

This causes large ice masses to rise above the ground.

These floating glaciers make up 80%. These glaciers are getting larger each year.

The Antarctic Ice Sheet has grown 60 feet in the past 60 years.

If the melting continues, sea level could rise up to 200ft. That could cause massive flooding around the globe.

This does not mean that everyone is wrong. Some scientists claim that global warming could be good for us. According to scientists, global warming could be good for us because the melting of the ice sheets will accelerate, which can lead to floods that release toxic chemicals into our soil and bodies.

But others warn that this theory sounds like a plot from a science fiction movie.
