Secret Underground Bases

secrets world

Secret underground bases have been a topic of debate for a long time. These bases have been seen by some to be used as launch pads for flying saucers. Some believe they were manufactured by the Space Force. Others suspects are the Department of Defense and British Army. The question is: What are these underground facilities like?

Department of Defense

The U.S. Department of Defense built underground bases to defend the country from alien invasions decades ago. The Military Office of the White House had established a multi-million-dollar secret fund to help build more than 75 facilities. The secret organization MJ-12 paid contractors to create top-secret military bases, as well as alien bases underground. The president's fund eventually paid contractors to build these shelters and bases.

British Army

Two reasons were the reason British soldiers hid in underground bases during WWII. The first reason was to avoid Nazi radar and the other was to hide from the enemy. These secret bases were created by Royal Engineers units. Their entrances were hidden and had enough supplies to last a fortnight. The secret underground bases also provided cover for the men as the Germans swept by.

Libya

FAQ

What is your most secretive community?

The answer to that question may shock you. It could even make you uncomfortable, because it challenges how reality is perceived and lived. There is a reason this place exists and it's not as you might expect.

It was known as the City of God to the ancient Greeks. In the Bible, it was known as the City of Destruction.

In India, it's called Kashi (Kashmir). It's also known as Novgorod in Russia.

Here in America, however, it is called The Village That Disappeared.

One tiny town in western New York State lost its 1,200 inhabitants without trace. A road sign pointing to the former location of the town was all that was left, except for a few bodies and cars.

This little town disappeared, leaving no clues about where it went or when. Some believe it was swallowed by the earth. Some claim it was destroyed by a meteorite impact. Still, others say aliens took it away.

Regardless of what happened, residents of this once-thriving town are certain that their town won't be forgotten forever. They had just moved to another town.

You can even track the disappearance of Zugspitz on a dedicated website.

Then, where is it? Well, it's in Switzerland!

You can find Zugspitze at the border of Austria and Germany. The lake Lake Zugspitze is just beyond the mountain's summit.

It has always fascinated me that so many towns have disappeared, yet some still remain. What is the difference between some towns that disappear and others that survive? I decided to investigate.

I wanted to learn more about mysteriously disappearing towns. What makes a town disappear? How can one place become extinct?

It turned out that there are many theories about disappearing towns. One theory is that a city disappears after all buildings have been demolished. Another theory suggests that the town simply moves somewhere else. A third theory states that the town didn't exist at all.

Theories aside, the fact remains that dozens of towns around the globe have been swallowed up by the ground. This video examines the history and current status of these places.

What is the most mysterious place on earth?

Antarctica is considered the most mysterious area on Earth.

Why do we find this place so intriguing? Because it is unlike anything else on Earth.

It is remote and difficult to reach. But there is more to this site than meets the eye.

You'll also find the strangest species of wildlife in this natural wonder.

So let's explore how this remarkable destination became famous for its mystery.

Antarctica, The South Pole

Antarctica's name is a mystery. Some believe it means "land of ice." Some believe it means "land of ice". Others believe it is Greek mythology.

In ancient Greece, Antarktis was the name given to the island where Zeus' twin brothers were born. One of the twins was said to have been born in winter. Thus, the term antarctic.

Others believe the name was derived from the Greek words tropos, which means turn, and anti, meaning against. This would translate to land that is turned away from the sun.

Whatever the reason Antarctica has held a special fascination for people, it is undeniable.

It is the continent with the lowest, windiest and highest temperatures. Because it is so cold, there aren't any trees, plants or animals.

Yet, life is abundant in this frozen wilderness.

It is home to approximately 90 percent of all life on Earth. You can find approximately half the world's species of animal and plant plants here.

What makes Antarctica so special? Here water freezes to ice and not evaporates into the atmosphere.

This causes large amounts of ice to float above ground.

These floating glaciers cover 80% of the continent. They are growing in size every year.

The Antarctic ice sheet has grown 60ft since 1960.

The sea level could rise to 200 feet if the melting continues. This could lead to massive flooding across the globe.

This does not mean that everyone is wrong. Some scientists claim that global warming could be good for us. They claim that the melting of ice sheets could accelerate as temperatures rise. This would lead to flooding that removes tons of toxic chemicals and soil from our bodies.

But others warn that this theory sounds like a plot from a science fiction movie.

What dark secrets are there in Hollywood?

Hollywood is filled with secret societies. There are many secret societies in Hollywood. Some are cult-like, where members adhere to strict rules and rituals. Others are clubs for people who share similar interests.

There are other nefarious entities that have a significant influence on the industry. These include companies like the MPAA ("Motion Picture Association of America"), which determines film ratings. The RIAA ("Recording Industry Association of America") sets music licensing fees.

Numerous unions and guilds also represent actors, directors, writers, producers, etc. The majority of major television networks and movie studios are owned by large corporations.

It is obvious that, no matter how secretive or obtuse a group appears, someone knows exactly what they do. They shouldn't be fearful, however.

Instead, we should embrace and celebrate them. Because they help us make better choices.

These experts tell us which movies are most likely to succeed, which songs will be in demand, and what books will sell the best.

They are, in short, what help us choose what we will watch, read and listen too.

We can trust them so we can ignore their advice when it doesn't suit our taste.

They become more powerful because we choose to ignore them. They become the ultimate arbiters of taste.

They can be ignored if you don’t like what they have to say.

Now let's take a look at some lesser-known yet very real Hollywood secret society.

And you'll understand why they're so crucial.

Did you know that there are approximately 1.6 billion metric tons of trash produced every day in the world?

According to the United Nations the average person creates more than 2.5 lbs of waste daily. That adds up over 25 billion kilos of garbage every year.

Most of this rubbish ends up in landfills or incinerators. But, what happens when those dumpsters fill up? All that trash ends up being shipped out of country. It is then shipped out and dumped in other countries. This pollutes the ecosystems. But now we know, thanks to one man. His name is Mike Sexton. He is the founder of Waste Watchers. He watches over trucks that transport trash across North America. He reports back to us about the next steps.

Sexton said he enjoys his job. CNN's Sexton said, "We have a lot to enjoy." "We see big rigs coming through town and we'll follow them. "Sexton began following truck drivers almost 20 years ago.

He said, "I fell in love with it."

He loved the story of the driver who pulled into an abandoned gas station near Los Angeles. Sexton described, "The guy was looking somewhere to put his load." "He drove down the road and saw this building. So he backed up and went inside. "There were two huge roll-off containers there filled with stuff. The guy took everything out and started filling up the truck again. He then looked around and decided to load everything. There were many old tires, furniture, rags and mattresses. It was a complete mess. But it had been cleaned out before he came along. There was no trash."

This begs the question: Why? This particular spot used to be a recycling center. People would drive there to recycle their trash. Sexton explained that people would bring home their household items, and then take them to the building. After they were done, they would dispose of the empty containers.

Now, because of the way the law works, once a container reaches its destination, it cannot be opened. So no matter how often someone takes something out of it, the thing will never be emptied.Every time the truck comes by, it has to start over again. This could happen hundreds times per week. Finally, the truck stops running completely due to its excessive junk. The truck eventually stops running and the owner decides that it is time to get rid of the vehicle.

However, trash is not the only problem on our planet.

The majority of these particles are made of small pieces of plastic. Some end up in rivers and oceans, while others end up in fish's stomachs.

Experts warn that the world may soon face a shortage of food if we don't make any changes. "If we keep going like we're going, we're not going to make it," one expert warned. But even though scientists agree that the world is headed toward disaster, most people don't seem worried.

How To

Hollywood scandals that shocked the world

There is nothing more shocking than witnessing someone get famous for the wrong reasons. There's nothing more shocking than watching someone fall from grace.

It's amazing to see how the industry responds to their mistakes. There are many stories about celebrities who drank excessively. Some even died young because of it.

But, the worst part? When those stars openly discuss their issues and are ignored by everyone. That's where we found ourselves last week.

Heath Ledger, after a long and successful professional career, finally gave in to his demons. He overdosed on prescription pills, and after a brief battle with death, he passed away.

His family and his friends struggled with the news and the media went after him.

Heath was once one of the most gifted actors currently working. His performance in Brokeback Mountain earned him two Academy Awards nominations.

Heath was not only an actor, but also directed and wrote films like A Knight's Tale and Monster's Ball.

Hollywood loved Heath but he grew too large for his boots. He became addicted to drugs and drank heavily. He ended up in rehab and became clean.

Now that he was sober, he wanted to make amends. So he made a documentary called "Room 237," which chronicled the making of The Shining. It was supposed to be released this year, but now it won't hit theaters until next year.

Heath tried many times to get back into Hollywood. Nothing worked. In fact, Heath was twice arrested on drug charges.

We are not suggesting that Heath should be allowed back into the show business. But it would have been nice to get some help before things spiralled out of control.

We hope Heath’s story can be an example to other people who believe they can still have it all.
