depressing facts about death

Shamsi community

The Shamsi community in The Book of Secrets is an example of a community that does not conform to a strict rule. Despite having Indian origins, the Shamsi community has managed to survive and incorporate the cultural practices of neighboring communities. One example of this is their religious festivals, which stem from an ancient custom of worshipping the goddess. Pipa’s sanctum Mariamu contains floor markings that bring good luck, and a Quranic verse is carved on its lintel.

Albert Corbin

Albert Corbin's book begins in the back room of an East African shopkeeper, in Dar es Salaam. Pius Fernandes (a teacher) discovered the diary while he taught in Tanzania, which was then a British colony. Pius is intrigued by the diary and meets local Indians.

Pius Fernandes

The Book of Secrets a provocative and beautifully written novel about the complexity of gender identity and sexuality. Although the author sets out to tell the story of a diary, he becomes caught up in the plot as he tries to trace events after the diary has been stopped.

FAQ

Which is the most secretive city in the world?

You might be surprised at the answer. It could even make you uncomfortable, because it challenges how reality is perceived and lived. But there is a reason why this place exists. And it is not what you would expect.

It was known as the City of God to the ancient Greeks. According to the Bible, it was called the City of Destruction.

It's also known as Kashi (Kashmir) in India. It is called Novgorod (Russia).

However, in America it is called The Town that Disappeared.

One small New York State town with just 1,200 people vanished. A road sign pointing to the former location of the town was all that was left, except for a few bodies and cars.

This tiny community disappeared without leaving any clues as to where it went or when. Some say it was swallowed up by the Earth. Others say it was destroyed in a meteorite collision. Others claim it was taken away by aliens.

Despite what may have happened, the people who lived in this once-thriving area are confident that their town will not be lost forever. They had just moved to another town.

There is even a website dedicated to tracking the disappearance of the lost city of Zugspitz.

Then, where is it? It's in Switzerland.

The border of Austria and Germany is at Zugspitze. Lake Zugspitze lies just above the summit of the mountain.

It has always fascinated me that so many towns have disappeared, yet some still remain. Why is it that some disappear while others live on? I decided to investigate.

I wanted more information about the mysterious disappearing of towns. What causes a community to disappear? How can a town disappear from existence?

There are many theories regarding the phenomenon of towns disappearing. One theory is that a city disappears after all buildings have been demolished. Another theory is that the town moves to another place. A third theory holds that the town did not exist.

Theories aside, the fact remains that dozens of towns around the globe have been swallowed up by the ground. This video examines the past and present status of these areas.

How does the brain control the functions in your body?

The brain communicates with other organs to ensure their cooperation. Your brain controls all that happens in your body. It tells both your stomach and lungs what to do; it also controls your legs and arms.

Your brain consists of billions of nerve cells connected in groups called neurons. Action potentials, which are electrical signals sent by neurons to each other via axons, allow them to communicate with one another. Each neuron has a cell membrane surrounding its nucleus. Channels within the membrane allow ions such potassium and sodium to enter and leave the cells. Ion movement is what causes the neurons to fire.

Neurotransmitters, which are chemicals that release neurotransmitters when a neuron fires up, can be found in the space between the neurons and the next one. Neurotransmitters can bind to receptors at the second neuron. They open ions channels, allowing ions to move in and outside of the channel. As a result, second neuron fires as well.

Neurotransmitter release occurs when the presynaptic neuron receives an impulse from another neuron. The impulse travels along an synapse between the neurons. The transmitter binds to the receptors on the postsynaptic neural cell, which triggers the firing of that neuron.

For communication within the nervous systems, neurotransmitters are essential. They coordinate activity between the different parts of your brain.

Which is the most mysterious spot on Earth?

Antarctica is one of the most mysterious places on Earth.

Why is this place so amazing? Because it's unlike any other place in the world.

It is difficult to access because it is remote and extremely isolated. There is much more to this place than meets the eyes.

You'll also find the strangest species of wildlife in this natural wonder.

Let's look at how this extraordinary destination became so mysterious.

Antarctica, The South Pole

Antarctica's name is a mystery. Others believe it means "land with ice". Others believe it derives from Greek mythology.

Antarktis is the name Antarktis was given to an island in ancient Greece by Zeus' twin brothers. According to some legends, one of these twins was born in winter. This is why the word "antarctic" was chosen.

Others believe that it is the Greek word anti, which means against, and tropos, which refers to turning. This would mean that the land was turned away by the sun.

No matter the reason, Antarctica is a place that has always fascinated people.

It is the driest, windiest of all continents. It is too cold to support trees, plants, and animals.

And yet, this frozen wasteland is teeming with life.

About 90 percent of all living things on Earth live here. It is home to approximately half of all world's animal and plant species.

What is Antarctica? Here, water freezes and becomes ice instead of evaporated into the air.

This creates large masses of ice that float above the ground.

These floating glaciers make up 80%. And they're growing larger every year.

The Antarctic ice has grown 60 feet so far since 1960.

If the melting continues, sea level could rise up to 200ft. That could cause massive flooding around the globe.

This is not necessarily bad news. Some scientists suggest that global warming could actually be good for us. They believe that global warming will lead to melting ice sheets faster and floods that can flush toxic chemicals out of our soils and bodies.

Others cautioned that this theory sounds too science fiction.

Did you know that there are approximately 1.6 billion metric tons of trash produced every day in the world?

The United Nations estimates that the average person generates more than 2.5 pounds of waste each day. This adds up to over 25 million pounds of garbage annually!

The majority of this garbage ends up in incinerators or landfills. But what happens when the dumpsters become full? All that trash ends up being shipped out of country. It is then dumped in other countries, where it pollutes their ecosystems. But now, thanks to the work of one man, we know exactly where all this trash goes. Mike Sexton is his nickname. He is the founder of Waste Watchers. He watches over trucks that transport trash across North America. Then he reports back to us about what happens next.

Sexton states that he finds his work very fulfilling. CNN's Sexton said, "We have a lot to enjoy." "We often see large rigs passing through our town and we will follow them. "Sexton began to follow truck drivers around 20 years ago.

"It's all I felt," he stated.

His favorite story is about a driver that pulled into an abandoned gas station just outside Los Angeles. "The guy was looking for someplace to put his load," Sexton recalled. "He drove down the road and saw this building. He pulled over and went in. "There were two enormous roll-off containers filled with stuff. The guy took everything out and started filling up the truck again. "Then he took out everything and began to fill up the truck. There were many old tires, furniture, rags and mattresses. "It was a complete mess. But it had been cleaned out before he came along. There was not a single piece of trash.

What is the explanation? This particular spot used to be a recycling center. People would drive there to recycle their trash. Sexton explained that people would bring home their household items, and then take them to the building. After they were done, they would dispose of the empty containers.

Now, because of the way the law works, once a container reaches its destination, it cannot be opened. So no matter how often someone takes something out of it, the thing will never be emptied.Every time the truck comes by, it has to start over again. This can happen hundreds of times a week.Eventually, the truck becomes so overloaded with junk that it stops running. The owner finally decides to stop using the truck.

Trash, however, isn't the only problem facing our planet. As you may have noticed, things are getting worse.According to experts, pollution levels have risen dramatically in recent years.More than half of all water bodies on Earth are polluted.Pollution from industrial chemicals has increased by more than 30 percent since 1980.Even the air we breathe is becoming increasingly toxic.A study by the World Health Organization found that the average person inhales around 100 million particles daily.

The majority of these particles are made of small pieces of plastic. Some end up in rivers and oceans, while others end up in fish's stomachs.

Experts warn of a possible global food crisis if nothing is done. One expert said, "If we keep going as we are going, we're never going to make it," but most people don’t seem concerned.
