Part II of the Deep Underground Military Bases Map

scariest facts in the world

Deep underground military bases (DUMBs) are a common location around the globe. These secret bases are designed to keep government and life support systems functioning in the event of a disaster. Read Part II for more information about these places.

DUMBs

If you've ever wondered where the world's military bases are, you're not alone. Many believe that advanced technology allows military personnel and extraterrestrials access to bases at great depths. The idea is dismissed by most as conspiracy theory. But researcher Revan Rising has data to back up his claims, including seismology charts indicating volcanic and earthquake activity.

DUMBs in Niger

American military leaders believe the best way of fighting Islamic State in Africa is to have a Niger based base. They also believe that stopping ISIS at the earliest stages of its growth is easier than trying to stop it after it has already dug in and fortified itself in cities. While Air Base 201 may have a deterrent effect, much of what is happening there will be classified.

FAQ

What is your most secretive community?

It may surprise you to hear the answer. It might even make you uncomfortable because it challenges our perception of reality and how we live. But there is a reason why this place exists. And it is not what you would expect.

It was known as the City of God to the ancient Greeks. It was also known as the City of Destruction according to the Bible.

In India, it's called Kashi (Kashmir). It's also known as Novgorod in Russia.

However, in America it is called The Town that Disappeared.

A small town in western New York State, with a population of 1,200, vanished without a trace. With the exception of a road marker pointing to its former site, there were no remains: cars, bodies, houses.

This little community vanished and no trace remains to indicate where or when it disappeared. Some believe the earth swallowed them up. Others claim that a meteorite hit destroyed it. Others believe that aliens took it.

The residents of this once prosperous community believe that whatever happened, their town is not gone forever. They had just moved to another town.

Even a website exists to help track down the disappearances of the lost city Zugspitz.

So where is this town? Well, it's in Switzerland!

Zugspitze lies on the border between Austria and Germany. The lake Lake Zugspitze is just beyond the mountain's summit.

It has always fascinated and astonished me to see how many towns have vanished but still exist. Is it possible that some towns disappear and others are preserved? I decided to investigate.

I was curious about the disappearing towns. What makes a town disappear? What makes a place disappear?

There are many theories regarding the phenomenon of towns disappearing. One theory states that a town vanishes when all its buildings are destroyed. Another theory states that the town simply moves to another location. A third theory claims that the town never existed at all.

No matter what theories you may have, there is no doubt that many towns across the globe were swallowed by the ground. This video examines both the history and current status.

Ever wonder how much trash gets produced each day around the world?

The United Nations states that an average person produces more than 2.5 pounds of waste per day. That's over 25 billion pounds of garbage each year!

Many of this trash ends in landfill dumps, or incinerators. But what happens if those dumpsters are full? Where does all that rubbish go?Well, most of it gets shipped out of the country. The rest is dumped abroad, where it pollutes other ecosystems. Now, we know the exact location of all this garbage. Mike Sexton is his nickname. He is the owner of Waste Watchers. His job involves monitoring the movements and routes of trash trucks across North America. He then reports back about what happens next.

Sexton says he finds his job very satisfying. CNN's Sexton said, "We have a lot to enjoy." "We see big rigs coming through town and we'll follow them. "Sexton began to follow truck drivers around 20 years ago.

He said, "I fell in love with it."

He loved the story of the driver who pulled into an abandoned gas station near Los Angeles. Sexton remembered, "The man was looking for somewhere to put the load." "He drove along the road and saw this structure. So he backed up and went inside. "There were 2 large containers that had been rolled off, and they were full of stuff. He took out everything and began to fill up the truck. "Then he looked at the place and decided to unload everything. There were tires, rags. furniture, mattresses. boxes, bottles, cans. It was a complete mess. But it had been cleaned before he arrived. There wasn’t trash everywhere."

What is the explanation? This particular spot used to be a recycling center. People would drive there to recycle their trash. Sexton explained, "They would bring their household goods and take them here," and they would then empty the containers.

You might see this happen hundreds of times a day. This can happen hundreds of times a week.Eventually, the truck becomes so overloaded with junk that it stops running. The owner eventually decides to dump the truck.

But, this isn't the only problem that our planet is facing.

The majority of these particles are made of small pieces of plastic. Some of these plastics end up in rivers or oceans.

Experts warn that the world may soon face a shortage of food if we don't make any changes. One expert said, "If we keep going as we are going, we're never going to make it," but most people don’t seem concerned.

What is the reason actors are blacklisted?

When you're an actor, there's more rejection than when you're a writer. As an actor, it's likely that you will be rejected a lot. You will find someone who loves and accepts you eventually.

Actors are usually very talented, meaning they can make a living almost anywhere. Most actors don't care about making money. They love acting, and they love telling stories. If you are an actor, you will most likely put yourself out there.

You might even go to auditions where you're told that you're too old, too young, or not right for the role. You may also be rejected from a movie audition. It happens all the time.

After you've been cast, there may be criticism. Some people will say that you look awful or shouldn't wear makeup. If you're lucky, you won't even hear negative comments.

Sometimes it's because you play a character that's not realistic or authentic. You could be a gay actor and everyone assumes you are straight. Or maybe you play a woman who is supposed to be tough, but she cries a lot.

Or maybe you're asked to change your voice. Sometimes they ask for you to sound like a male or female. They want you to sound better most of the time.

The best way to deal with these criticisms is to ignore them. Actors often feel that they've failed if they are told they did something wrong. The truth is they haven’t done anything wrong.

They weren't born with the talents that made them famous. They don't always fit the bill, no matter how hard they try.

Blacklisting can happen for many reasons. Some people don't like actors. Others think that actors are lazy. Others still believe that actors cheat.

Whatever your reason, it doesn't matter. You won't get blacklisted for trying. There are plenty of jobs available and you'll find them.

As long as you keep trying, you'll eventually succeed.

Is there a more mysterious place than the Earth itself?

Antarctica is one of the most mysterious places on Earth.

Why is this place so amazing? Because it is unlike anything else on Earth.

It is very remote and isolated. This site has more to it than meets your eye.

This natural wonder is also home to some of the strangest wildlife species.

Let's look at how this extraordinary destination became so mysterious.

Antarctica: The South Pole

Antarctica is not known by anyone. Some believe it is "land of the ice". Others believe it comes out of Greek mythology.

Antarktis is the name Antarktis was given to an island in ancient Greece by Zeus' twin brothers. According to legend, one twin was born in winter. Thus, the term antarctic.

Others believe that the name is a combination of the Greek words anti and tropos which mean against and turn. This would mean land turned away from the sun.

Whatever the reason, Antarctica has always held a special fascination for people.

It is the continent with the lowest, windiest and highest temperatures. There are no trees, plants, or animals here because it is too cold.

This frozen wasteland is still alive.

About 90 percent of all living things on Earth live here. Here are approximately 50% of all the animal and plant species in the world.

What makes Antarctica so special? Here, water is frozen into ice rather than vaporizing into the air.

This causes large masses to form of ice which float high above the ground.

These glaciers are responsible for covering 80% of the continent. These glaciers are getting larger each year.

So far, the Antarctic ice sheet has grown 60 feet since 1960.

If the melting goes on, the sea level may rise by as much as 200 feet. This could lead worldwide flooding.

However, not all scientists believe this to be bad news. Some scientists think global warming might be beneficial. They say that as temperatures rise, the ice sheets might melt faster, causing floods that flush out tons of toxic chemicals from our soil and bodies.

However, others caution that this theory sounds a lot like a plot in a science fiction movie.
