FAQ

Did you know that there are approximately 1.6 billion metric tons of trash produced every day in the world?

The United Nations states that an average person produces more than 2.5 pounds of waste per day. That's over 25 billion pounds of garbage each year!

Most of the trash ends up at incinerators and landfills. But, what happens to those dumpsters? All that trash ends up being shipped out of country. It is then dumped in other countries, where it pollutes their ecosystems. But now, thanks to the work of one man, we know exactly where all this trash goes. Mike Sexton is his name. He is the owner of Waste Watchers. His job involves monitoring the movements and routes of trash trucks across North America. He then reports back to us on what happens next.

Sexton says he finds his job very satisfying. CNN asked Sexton if he thought it was a lot of fun. "We see big rigs coming through town and we'll follow them. "Sexton began to follow truck drivers around 20 years ago.

"I just fell in love with it," he said.

He loved the story of the driver who pulled into an abandoned gas station near Los Angeles. Sexton recalls, "The guy was searching for somewhere to put his loads." "He drove down the street and saw this building. He stopped and pulled up, then he went inside. "There were 2 large containers that had been rolled off, and they were full of stuff. He took out everything and began to fill up the truck. He then looked around and decided to load everything. There were a bunch of old tires, rags, furniture, mattresses, boxes, bottles, cans, and whatever else. "It was just an absolute mess. But it was cleaned out before he came. There was no trash."

So why did this happen? Well, the answer is that this particular location used to be part of a recycling center.People who learned about this facility would drive here to recycle their trash. Sexton explained, "They would bring their household goods and take them here," and they would then empty the containers.

You might see this happen hundreds of times a day. It could happen hundreds of thousands of times a week. The truck eventually stops running because it has become so jammed with junk. The owner eventually decides to dump the truck.

Trash isn’t the only problem we face on the planet.

These tiny plastic particles make up the majority of the particles. Some end up in incinerators or landfills. Others get washed into rivers or oceans. And when they reach the ocean, they often end up in the stomachs of fish.

Experts say if nothing changes, we could soon face a global food shortage. "If we keep going like we're going, we're not going to make it," one expert warned. But even though scientists agree that the world is headed toward disaster, most people don't seem worried.

Why do actors get blacklisted in the first place?

If you are an actor, you will get more rejection than if you are a writer. Actors are likely to be rejected often. But it doesn't matter because eventually, you'll find someone who loves you.

Actors have a lot of talent, so they can make a decent living almost anywhere. However, most actors aren't interested in making money. Actors love to act and tell stories. You'll be an actor if you love acting.

Sometimes you may be told by the audition panel that you are too young, too old, or wrong for the role. Or, you could lose out on a role in a movie. It happens all too often.

You may be criticised once your casting is complete. Many people will tell you you look horrible or that you shouldn't be wearing make-up. If you're lucky, you won't even hear negative comments.

Sometimes, your performance as a fictional character can be ridiculed. You could be a gay actor and everyone assumes you are straight. Perhaps you play a woman that is supposed to be strong but who cries a lot.

Sometimes they might ask you to change how you speak. Sometimes they ask you to sound like either a boy or a girl. Most of the time, however, they want to hear better.

Negative criticisms are best ignored. Actors often feel that they've failed if they are told they did something wrong. But the truth is that they haven't done anything wrong.

They just weren't born with the talent that made them famous. Sometimes, no matter what they do, they just don't fit the bill.

There are many reasons an actor might be blacklisted. Some people don't like actors. Some people think actors are lazy. Others think actors are lazy.

Whatever your reason, it doesn't matter. You won't get blacklisted for trying. There are many roles available, and you will find them.

Keep trying and you will eventually succeed.

What is the most mysterious area on earth?

Antarctica is the world's most mysterious place on Earth.

What is it that makes this place so interesting? It is unlike any other place on Earth.

It is isolated, remote, and very hard to visit. However, there's more to this location than meets the eye.

You will also find some of the oddest wildlife species in this natural wonder.

Let's look at how this extraordinary destination became so mysterious.

Antarctica: The South Pole

It is not known why Antarctica was called Antarctica. Some say it means "land on ice." Some believe it means "land of ice". Others believe it is Greek mythology.

Antarktis, the Greek name for the island on which Zeus' twin brothers were conceived, was used in ancient Greece. According to legend, one of the twins was born in winter. Thus, the term antarctic.

Others believe that the name comes from the Greek words anti meaning against and tropos meaning to turn. This would signify land turned away the sun.

Whatever the reason Antarctica has held a special fascination for people, it is undeniable.

It is the coldest, windiest, driest and highest continent. It is too cold to support trees, plants, and animals.

This frozen wasteland is still alive.

Here are about 90% of all the living creatures on Earth. You can find approximately half the world's species of animal and plant plants here.

What is it that makes Antarctica so unique? Here, water freezes into ice instead of evaporating into the air.

This results in large masses of ice floating above the ground.

These glaciers are responsible for covering 80% of the continent. They are growing in size every year.

The Antarctic Ice Sheet has grown 60 feet in the past 60 years.

If the melting continues, sea level could rise up to 200ft. That could cause massive flooding around the globe.

This does not mean that everyone is wrong. Global warming may be beneficial for some scientists. They believe that global warming will lead to melting ice sheets faster and floods that can flush toxic chemicals out of our soils and bodies.

Others cautioned that this theory sounds too science fiction.
