Why are actors blacklisted?
Actors are more likely to be rejected than writers. As an actor, it's likely that you will be rejected a lot. But it doesn't matter because eventually, you'll find someone who loves you.
Actors are typically very talented and can earn a living virtually anywhere. Actors don't really care about making money. Actors love acting, and love telling stories. Actors are likely to be outspoken.
It is possible to be told that you are not suitable for the role, or that you are too old or too young. Sometimes, you may lose an audition for a movie. It happens all too often.
But once you've been cast, you may also face criticism. People will tell you that you look terrible or shouldn't be wearing makeup. If you're lucky, you won't even hear negative comments.
Sometimes, you might be criticised for playing a role that isn’t authentic or realistic. You might play a gay man and everyone assumes that you are straight. Maybe you are a woman who is tough but cries often.
Or maybe you're asked to change your voice. Sometimes they ask for you to sound like a male or female. Most times, though, they want you to sound better.
Negative criticisms are best ignored. Actors can feel like they have failed when they are told they did something wrong. But the truth is that they haven't done anything wrong.
They were not born with the talent that would make them famous. Sometimes they don't fit that bill no matter how hard or if they try.
Blacklisting can happen for many reasons. Some people don't like actors. Some people think actors are lazy. Still, others say that actors are cheaters.
No matter what the reason, you won't be blacklisted if your persistence persists. There are many jobs out there and you'll be able to find them.
You'll succeed as long as you keep trying.
Do you wonder how much trash is produced each day across the globe?
According to the United Nations there are more than 25 billion tons of garbage produced each year.
The majority of this garbage ends up in incinerators or landfills. But what happens when the dumpsters become full? Where does all that rubbish go?Well, most of it gets shipped out of the country. It is then shipped out and dumped in other countries. This pollutes the ecosystems. But now we know, thanks to one man. Mike Sexton is his nickname. He runs Waste Watchers, a company that monitors the movements of trucks carrying trash all across North America. He reports back to us about the next steps.
Sexton says he finds his job very satisfying. CNN's Sexton said, "We have a lot to enjoy." "We see these big trucks coming through town, so we'll keep following them. "Sexton started following truck driver almost 20 years back.
"I just fell in love with it," he said.
He loved the story of the driver who pulled into an abandoned gas station near Los Angeles. "The guy was looking for someplace to put his load," Sexton recalled. "He drove along the road and saw this structure. So he backed up and went inside. "There were 2 large containers that had been rolled off, and they were full of stuff. The guy took everything out and started filling up the truck again. "Then he took out everything and began to fill up the truck. There were tires, rags. furniture, mattresses. boxes, bottles, cans. "It was a complete mess. But it had been cleaned before he arrived. There wasn't any trash anywhere."
Why did this happen? The answer is that this location was once part of a recycling facility. People who knew about it would drive to this location to recycle their garbage. "They'd bring their household items and take them to this building," Sexton explained.And after they finished, they would leave the empty containers behind.
This could happen hundreds of time per week. It can happen hundreds of time per week. Eventually, the truck is so full of junk it stops running. The truck eventually stops running and the owner decides that it is time to get rid of the vehicle.
Trash isn’t the only problem we face on the planet.

The answer may shock you. It might even make you uncomfortable because it challenges our perception of reality and how we live. However, there's a reason for this place to exist. It's not what we would expect.
It was known as the City of God to the ancient Greeks. It was called the City of Destruction by the Bible.
It is also called Kashi in India (Kashmir). It is also called Novgorod in Russia.
It is known as The Town That Disappeared in America.
One small New York State town with just 1,200 people vanished. With the exception of a road marker pointing to its former site, there were no remains: cars, bodies, houses.
This tiny community disappeared without leaving any clues as to where it went or when. Some say it was swallowed up by the Earth. Others claim that a meteorite hit destroyed it. Some believe that it was taken by aliens.

It has always fascinated me that so many towns have disappeared, yet some still remain. What is the difference between some towns that disappear and others that survive? I decided to investigate.
I was interested in learning more about these mysterious towns that are disappearing. Is it possible for a place to vanish? How can one place vanish from existence?
There are many theories to explain the phenomenon of disappearing towns. One theory holds that a town disappears if all its buildings are demolished. Another theory is that the town moves to another place. A third theory states that the town didn't exist at all.
No matter what theories you may have, there is no doubt that many towns across the globe were swallowed by the ground. This video examines both the history and current status.

It is not known why Antarctica was called Antarctica. Some believe it is "land of the ice". Others believe it comes from Greek mythology.
Antarktis, the Greek name for the island on which Zeus' twin brothers were conceived, was used in ancient Greece. One of the twins was said to have been born in winter. Therefore, the name antarctic.
Others believe the name was derived from the Greek words tropos, which means turn, and anti, meaning against. This would mean land turned away from the sun.
Whatever the reason Antarctica has held a special fascination for people, it is undeniable.
It is also the lowest, windiest continent, driest, and highest. Because it is too frigid, there are no trees, animals, or plants.
This frozen wasteland is still alive.
It houses approximately 90% of all Earth's living organisms. You can find approximately half the world's species of animal and plant plants here.
What is it that makes Antarctica so unique? Here, water freezes into ice instead of evaporating into the air.
This causes large ice masses to rise above the ground.
These floating glaciers cover 80% of the continent. These glaciers are getting larger each year.
The Antarctic ice sheet has grown 60ft since 1960.
The sea level could rise to 200 feet if the melting continues. This could lead to widespread flooding.
But not everyone thinks this is bad news. Some scientists believe that global warming can be beneficial. They suggest that rising temperatures could cause ice sheet melt faster, leading to floods that flush out toxic chemicals from soil and bodies.
Others warn that this theory sounds like something out of a science-fiction movie.
