UFOs and aliens make for great movies, but the truth is stranger than fiction. In an upcoming documentary called Unacknowledged, filmmaker Michael Mazzola looks into the government's past and continued efforts to keep these technologies secret, bringing it all home to the United States.
The Orchard is releasing the film on Digital HD, May 9th, with an introduction trailer. Dr. Steven Greer will appear in the film, who is the founder and leader of the Disclosure Project as well as a foremost authority on UFOs. He led the National Press Club's press conference, where more than 20 military and government witnesses as well corporate representatives were present to announce the existence of alien life forms.
Greer's film explores illegal covert activities at the heart UFO secretariat. He presents classified documents, top-secret testimony and UFO footage to reveal the consequences of this secret regime.
The film also discusses how the UFO secrets that are held by the government are part of a plan to stop the environmental movement. The governments have used it to prevent the public from discovering sustainable energy resources that could help reduce our carbon foot print and eliminate oil. These secret technologies can help us break our addiction to fossil fuels and shift towards renewable energy sources like solar and wind.

FAQ
What is your most secretive community?
You might be surprised at the answer. You might be uncomfortable with the truth of it, as it may challenge your perception of reality. But there is a reason that this place exists. It isn't what you would expect.
It was called the City of God by ancient Greeks. It was called the City of Destruction by the Bible.
It's also known as Kashi (Kashmir) in India. It is called Novgorod (Russia).
Here in America, however, it is called The Village That Disappeared.
One small community in western New York State with 1,200 residents vanished without a trace. No bodies, cars, houses, nothing was left behind except a road sign pointing to its former location.
This little community vanished and no trace remains to indicate where or when it disappeared. Some claim the earth swallowed it. Others claim that a meteorite hit destroyed it. Others believe that aliens took it.
Whatever happened, the residents of this once-thriving community are convinced that their town isn't gone forever. They had just moved from one town to the other.
You can even track the disappearance of Zugspitz on a dedicated website.
So where is this town? It's in Switzerland, actually!
The border of Austria and Germany is at Zugspitze. Lake Zugspitze lies just above the summit of the mountain.
It has always fascinated and astonished me to see how many towns have vanished but still exist. Why do some disappear while others survive? I set out to find out.
I wanted more information about the mysterious disappearing of towns. What causes a community to disappear? How can one place vanish from existence?
It turned out that there are many theories about disappearing towns. One theory holds that a town disappears if all its buildings are demolished. Another theory states that the town simply moves to another location. A third theory states that the town didn't exist at all.
Theories aside, the fact remains that dozens of towns around the globe have been swallowed up by the ground. This video looks into the history of those places and investigates their current status.

Why do actors end up on the blacklist?
If you are an actor, you will get more rejection than if you are a writer. If you're an actor, you'll probably get rejected a lot. You will find someone who loves and accepts you eventually.
Actors are often very talented and can make a living anywhere. However, most actors aren't interested in making money. Actors love acting and storytelling. It's likely that you will be acting if your passion is acting.
Sometimes, auditions are cancelled because you are either too young or too old for the job. Sometimes, you may lose an audition for a movie. It happens all the times.
However, once you have been cast, it is possible to face criticism. Some people will say that you look awful or shouldn't wear makeup. If you're lucky, you won't even hear negative comments.
Sometimes, your performance as a fictional character can be ridiculed. You could be a gay actor and everyone assumes you are straight. Maybe you are a woman who is tough but cries often.
Maybe you are asked to change your vocal chords. Sometimes they ask you to sound like a guy or a girl. They will usually ask you to sound better.
It is best to ignore these criticisms. Actors feel like they've failed when told they did wrong. However, they aren't doing anything wrong.
They were not born with the talent that would make them famous. Sometimes they don't fit that bill no matter how hard or if they try.
Blacklisting can happen for many reasons. Some people don't like actors. Others think that actors are lazy. Others still believe that actors cheat.
Whatever the reason, it's important to realize that you will not get blacklisted if you keep trying. There are many roles available, and you will find them.
You will eventually succeed if you keep trying.
Is there a Hollywood blacklist of actors?
There is a Hollywood blacklist.
But, the list has not been made public. As far as we know, the names aren't even known. But, here's why it matters.
The secretive nature of the information is due to the fact that actors and directors on blacklist won't be in a position to find work. The studios would be out of business as they lose money. They would also cut back on their spending on movies. This would lead to fewer opportunities and less money for blacklisted directors. This would make them bankrupt.
This could eventually lead to more victims.
When someone tries making an Oscar winning movie they might be asked for a contract. This means that they can't publicly criticize their employer. Any director or producer who would like to be nominated for an award is subject to the same rules.
That's why you hear stories about how producers pressure directors to remove scenes from their films. Or directors threaten to walk out of projects that don’t match their vision.
This is why Hollywood keeps a blacklist. Negative comments about your employer will most likely lead to you being unemployed. And that's not good for anyone.
It is not uncommon for people to be falsely accused. They have had to fight for their freedom.
This kind of thing must stop before it can happen again. Everyone should have the right to speak freely.
We need to get rid of Hollywood's blacklist.
