Epischura, tiny creatures that live near the shore, ingest these contaminants and transport them up the food chain. They can then be absorbed into the bodies of larger fish. Lake Baikal is home to nerpa, omul, and golumyanka.
Mount Weather complex
For over a century, Washington, DC's Mount Weather complex was a highly classified location. There are many facilities at the complex, including an emergency medical center, a crematorium and a radio and TV studio. It can host up to 2000 people during an emergency. The entire facility is unlikely to be used by anyone. The facility was briefly activated in the aftermath of a major electric power outage in the Washington, D.C. area on April 7, 2015.

"He drove along the road and saw this structure. So he backed up and went inside. "There were two large roll-off containers full of stuff. The man got everything out of the truck and began filling it up again. "Then he looked at the place and decided to unload everything. There were a bunch of old tires, rags, furniture, mattresses, boxes, bottles, cans, and whatever else. "It was just a total mess. But it had been cleared out before he arrived. There wasn't any trash."
This begs the question: Why? Well, the answer is that this particular location used to be part of a recycling center.People who learned about this facility would drive here to recycle their trash. "They'd bring their household items and take them to this building," Sexton explained.And after they finished, they would leave the empty containers behind.
You might see this happen hundreds of times a day. This can happen hundreds of times a week.Eventually, the truck becomes so overloaded with junk that it stops running. The owner finally decides to stop using the truck.
Trash isn’t the only problem we face on the planet.
