Menwith Hill Royal Air Force Station

Menwith Hill Royal Air Force Station hosts US drone operations. These missions are mostly secretive and are used worldwide to target terrorists. They are also used by the government to monitor emails, phone calls and Google searches. According to reports, successive British governments have cooperated with the base since 1954. MPs have been denied access to it repeatedly.

Menwith Hill has been involved in a number of "capture-kill" operations. Although Snowden's documents did not reveal details of the fatal incidents, it is clear that the base has been used in the killing of hundreds of civilians in the last decade. Its mission has also been a key part in drone strikes in Yemen.

North Sentinel Island

embarrassing secrets about celebrities

Although the estimated population is somewhere between eighty-150 and 150, it could actually be much higher. They speak their own dialect and live in huts with sloped roofs. They also own narrow outrigger rafts and can carry bows. They hunt for food, and harvest crabs as well as fish.

Baikal

Lake Baikal is located in Siberia and is the deepest in the world. It is also the largest. And it's home to more than 1,700 species of plants and animals. Nearly 33% of these species are only found in the Lake. Scientists from all over the world have joined their Soviet counterparts in an ambitious research program.

Although Lake Baikal's water is clean, some pollutants can cause it to become contaminated. Epischura, tiny creatures that live near the shore, ingest these contaminants and transport them up the food chain. They can then be absorbed into the bodies of larger fish. Lake Baikal is home to nerpa, omul, and golumyanka.

Mount Weather complex

For over a century, Washington, DC's Mount Weather complex was a highly classified location. There are many facilities at the complex, including an emergency medical center, a crematorium and a radio and TV studio. It can host up to 2000 people during an emergency. The entire facility is unlikely to be used by anyone. The facility was briefly activated in the aftermath of a major electric power outage in the Washington, D.C. area on April 7, 2015.

Mount Weather is one of the most hidden locations in the entire world. This underground location cannot be accessed without a code. Once the code is decoded it's possible to access it. Once inside the complex, a shield protects it and provides a surveillance system. The complex has several secret passages and underground rooms that contain different systems. Two underground buildings can be found in the central part of the complex. These buildings house the major facilities of the complex.

FAQ

What is your most secretive community?

The answer to that question may shock you. It could even make you uncomfortable, because it challenges how reality is perceived and lived. There is a reason this place exists and it's not as you might expect.

It was called the City of God by ancient Greeks. It was also known as the City of Destruction according to the Bible.

It is called Kashi (Kashmir in India). It's known in Russia as Novgorod.

Here in America, however, it is called The Village That Disappeared.

A small town in western New York State, with a population of 1,200, vanished without a trace. With the exception of a road marker pointing to its former site, there were no remains: cars, bodies, houses.

This tiny community disappeared without leaving any clues as to where it went or when. Some claim the earth swallowed it. Others claim a meteorite strike destroyed it. Still, others say aliens took it away.

The residents of this once prosperous community believe that whatever happened, their town is not gone forever. They just moved to another city.

There's even a website that tracks the disappearances and recoveries of Zugspitz.

The question is, where did this place go? It's actually in Switzerland!

Zugspitze is situated on the border between Germany und Austria. Just beyond the summit of the mountain is a huge lake called Lake Zugspitze.

It has always fascinated my that so many towns have disappeared but others still exist. Is it possible that some towns disappear and others are preserved? I decided to investigate.

I was interested in learning more about these mysterious towns that are disappearing. Is it possible for a place to vanish? What makes a place disappear?

There are many theories regarding the phenomenon of towns disappearing. One theory says that a town disappears when all the buildings are demolished. Another theory is that the town moves to another place. Another theory suggests that the town has never existed.

There are many theories, but the truth is that thousands of towns around the world have been submerged by the earth. This video examines the past and present status of these areas.

What is the most mysterious place on earth?

Antarctica is home to the most mysterious and remote place on Earth.

Why do we find this place so intriguing? Because it is unlike anything else on Earth.

It is remote and difficult to reach. But there is more to this site than meets the eye.

You will also find some of the oddest wildlife species in this natural wonder.

So let's explore how this remarkable destination became famous for its mystery.

Antarctica: The South Pole

No one knows exactly why Antarctica was named Antarctica. Some believe it is "land of the ice". Others believe it comes out of Greek mythology.

In ancient Greece, Antarktis was the name given to the island where Zeus' twin brothers were born. According to legend, one of the twins was born in winter. This is why the word "antarctic" was chosen.

Others believe that the name is a combination of the Greek words anti and tropos which mean against and turn. This would signify land turned away the sun.

No matter the reason, Antarctica is a place that has always fascinated people.

It is the continent with the lowest, windiest and highest temperatures. There are no trees, plants, or animals here because it is too cold.

Yet, this frozen wasteland is alive.

It houses approximately 90% of all Earth's living organisms. Here are approximately 50% of all the animal and plant species in the world.

What makes Antarctica so special? Here water freezes to ice and not evaporates into the atmosphere.

This causes large masses to form of ice which float high above the ground.

These floating glaciers cover 80% of the continent. These glaciers are getting larger each year.

Since 1960, the Antarctic ice sheets has grown 60ft.

The sea level will rise up to 200 feet if melting continues. This could lead worldwide flooding.

However, not all scientists believe this to be bad news. Global warming may be beneficial for some scientists. They claim that the melting of ice sheets could accelerate as temperatures rise. This would lead to flooding that removes tons of toxic chemicals and soil from our bodies.

But others warn that this theory sounds like a plot from a science fiction movie.

What dark secrets are there in Hollywood?

Hollywood is filled secret societies. There are many secret societies in Hollywood. Some are cult-like, where members adhere to strict rules and rituals. Others are clubs for people who share similar interests.

Some of the most powerful organizations in the industry are even more dangerous. Companies such as the MPAA, which determines film ratings, or the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America), that set music licensing fees, are examples of these.

Numerous unions and guilds also represent actors, directors, writers, producers, etc. These large corporations control the majority of major film studios and television networks.

The point is that no matter how secretive any group may seem, someone somewhere knows exactly what they do. We shouldn't fear these people.

Instead, we should embrace and celebrate them. Because they provide us with information that helps us make better decisions.

They can tell us which movies and songs are likely to be successful, as well as what books and novels will be most popular.

They help us make decisions about what we will buy, watch, listen to, or read.

We can trust them so we can ignore their advice when it doesn't suit our taste.

Because we have chosen to ignore their power, they are even more powerful. They are the ultimate judges of taste.

You are free to ignore their messages if that bothers you.

So now let's look at some of the lesser-known but still very real Hollywood secret societies.

You can see why they are so vital.

Have you ever wondered what amount of trash is generated each day worldwide?

The United Nations estimates that the average person generates more than 2.5 pounds of waste each day. This adds up to over 25 million pounds of garbage annually!

Many of this trash ends in landfill dumps, or incinerators. But what happens if those dumpsters are full? It goes to the United States, where most of it is exported. It is then shipped out and dumped in other countries. This pollutes the ecosystems. But now we know, thanks to one man. Mike Sexton is his real name. He is the founder of Waste Watchers. He watches over trucks that transport trash across North America. He then gives us a report on what happens next.

Sexton states that he finds his work very fulfilling. CNN's Sexton said, "We have a lot to enjoy." "You know, we see these big rigs come through town, and we'll follow them. "Sexton began following truck drivers almost 20 years ago.

"It's all I felt," he stated.

Sexton's favorite story was about a driver who stopped at an abandoned gas station in Los Angeles. Sexton recalls, "The guy was searching for somewhere to put his loads." "He drove along the road and saw this structure. So he backed up and went inside. "There were two large roll-off containers full of stuff. The man got everything out of the truck and began filling it up again. "Then he looked at the place and decided to unload everything. There were a bunch of old tires, rags, furniture, mattresses, boxes, bottles, cans, and whatever else. "It was just a total mess. But it had been cleared out before he arrived. There wasn't any trash."

This begs the question: Why? Well, the answer is that this particular location used to be part of a recycling center.People who learned about this facility would drive here to recycle their trash. "They'd bring their household items and take them to this building," Sexton explained. And after they finished, they would leave the empty containers behind.

You might see this happen hundreds of times a day. This can happen hundreds of times a week.Eventually, the truck becomes so overloaded with junk that it stops running. The owner finally decides to stop using the truck.

Trash isn’t the only problem we face on the planet.

Plastic pieces make up most of these particles. Some of these plastics end up in rivers or oceans.

Experts warn of a possible global food crisis if nothing is done. "If we keep going like we're going, we're not going to make it," one expert warned. But even though scientists agree that the world is headed toward disaster, most people don't seem worried.
