FAQ

Ever wonder how much trash gets produced each day around the world?

The United Nations estimates that the average person generates more than 2.5 pounds of waste each day. This adds up to over 25 million pounds of garbage annually!

Many of this trash ends in landfill dumps, or incinerators. But what happens if those dumpsters are full? Most of that trash is shipped out of the country. The trash is then sent out of the country and dumped in countries where it pollutes ecosystems. But, one man has now discovered exactly where this rubbish goes. His name is Mike Sexton. He runs Waste Watchers, a company that monitors the movements of trucks carrying trash all across North America. He reports back to us about the next steps.

Sexton states that he finds his work very fulfilling. CNN asked Sexton if he thought it was a lot of fun. "You know, we see these big rigs come through town, and we'll follow them. "Sexton began following truckers almost 20 year ago.

He stated, "I just fell in Love with It."

His favorite story involved a driver who pulled off at an abandoned gas station near Los Angeles. Sexton recalls, "The guy was searching for somewhere to put his loads." "He saw the building as he drove down the road. He pulled over and went in. "There were two enormous roll-off containers filled with stuff. The guy took everything out and started filling up the truck again. "Then, he took everything out and started filling up the truck again. There were tires, rags. furniture, mattresses. boxes, bottles, cans. "It was just a total mess. But it had been cleared out before he arrived. There wasn't any trash."

Why did this happen? It's because this area used to be a recycle center. People would drive from all over the country to recycle their trash. Sexton explained that people would bring home their household items, and then take them to the building. After they were done, they would dispose of the empty containers.

Now, because of the way the law works, once a container reaches its destination, it cannot be opened. So no matter how often someone takes something out of it, the thing will never be emptied.Every time the truck comes by, it has to start over again. It could happen hundreds of thousands of times a week. The truck eventually stops running because it has become so jammed with junk. The owner finally decides to stop using the truck.

Trash isn’t the only problem we face on the planet.

These tiny plastic particles make up the majority of the particles. Some end up in incinerators or landfills. Others end up in rivers, oceans or the stomachss of fish.

Experts warn of a possible global food crisis if nothing is done. Experts warn that "if we keep going the way we are, we're not going make it," although scientists agree that the world is heading toward disaster. Most people, however, don't seem to be concerned.

What is the most intriguing fact about the human anatomy?

Two eyes, two ears and two nostrils are part of our bodies. We also have four limbs: a mouth, nose, penis, and four limbs. We have over 50 parts of our bodies. However, one thing is missing. A heart.

The heart is a pump which circulates blood throughout the body. The blood travels through the veins and arteries, transporting oxygen and nutrients to cells. It also removes carbon dioxide.

Each minute, the heart pumps 5 liters of blood. This is equivalent to an adult consuming 2-3 cups of coffee per day.

Blood flows through the heart 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. While you are sleeping, your heart beats about 100 times per second.

You can tell whether someone is healthy or unhealthy because of the color of their skin. You can see tiny blood vessels, called capillaries, when you look closely at the skin. These tiny vessels transport blood from the larger blood vessels to the heart. The skin turns blue or violet when blood flow becomes blocked.

People suffering from sickle cell disease have no red blood cells. Patients with sickle cell disease have their blood become sticky and harden, leading to severe illness.

A bandage can be used to stop bleeding if you have cut your own skin. Blood must continue to flow to allow the wounds to heal properly. To do this, doctors insert a needle through the skin into the vein next to the injury. This allows blood to drain from the area.

Doctors also insert tubes (catheters) into the artery near the site where the blood clot forms. This keeps the patient occupied until the clot is broken down naturally.

What dark secrets do Hollywood have?

Hollywood is full of secret societies. Many secret societies are cult-like and follow rigid rules. Others are just clubs for people with common interests.

Some of the most powerful organizations in the industry are even more dangerous. These include the MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America), the organization that sets film ratings and RIAA(Recording Industry Association of America), the company that sets music licensing fees.

Numerous unions, guilds, and associations represent actors, writers, producers, editors, and other creative professionals. Large corporations own most major studios and networks of television.

It is obvious that, no matter how secretive or obtuse a group appears, someone knows exactly what they do. We shouldn't fear these people.

Instead, we should embrace them. Because they can help us make better decisions.

They tell us what movies will likely succeed, what songs will be popular, and what books will best sell.

These help us to decide what we'll watch, read, listen, and buy.

We can trust them so we can ignore their advice when it doesn't suit our taste.

We choose to ignore them and they become even more powerful. They are the ultimate judges of taste.

They can be ignored if you don’t like what they have to say.

So now let's look at some of the lesser-known but still very real Hollywood secret societies.

You can see why they are so vital.
