Places of strategic importance or cultural legacy are often considered to be the most safe. These places can be found even in prisons, such as the US correctional facility ADX Florence. In fact, some of the safest prisons in the world have sophisticated surveillance systems. They are able monitor their prisoners 24/7, no matter whether they are in Fort Knox and Area 51.
Fort Knox
Fort Knox is found in Louisville Kentucky, close to Elizabethtown. It is famous for its United States Bullion Depository. Although it is off limits to the general public, there have been times when a few members the press were allowed into the building. This important facility protects the nation's precious gold reserves against enemy invasion.

Area 51
One of the most highly-secure military research facilities, Area 51, is the subject of rumours for many decades. Many believe it's the site where an alien spacecraft crashed. Others think it's a classified government project that was meant to determine Soviet nuclear weapons research status. The truth is more complicated. The Area 51 area is secure and monitored for any intruders.
White House
The White House may not be the safest place on the planet, but the United States government takes precautions to ensure it is. The complex is surrounded by security forces. SOS officers must complete rigorous training. These officers should also have a good knowledge of the history of the building as well as its furnishings.
Fort Meade
Fort Meade, an area of 5,400 acres outside Washington, D.C., contains the National Security Agency, U.S. Cyber Command, Navy's new Cyberfleet, as well the U.S. Cyber Command. The fort is the nerve center of the nation's surveillance apparatus, and it protects our nation's networks against hacker attacks and malicious insider threats.
United States Bullion Depository
The United States Bullion Depository offers bullion and gold coins for purchase. This secure location was built over land once owned the military. Today, it houses one of the largest collections of bullion in the world. Although the United States owns the majority of the bullion, there are still substantial amounts of gold in trust for other countries and international organizations.

FAQ
Is there a more mysterious place than the Earth itself?
Antarctica is the most mysterious continent on Earth.
Why is this place so amazing? Because it is unlike anything else on Earth.
It is remote and difficult to reach. It is not what you see.
These wild animals are also found in this natural wonder.
Let's look at how this extraordinary destination became so mysterious.
Antarctica: The South Pole
Antarctica is named for no one. Some say it means "land on ice." Others believe it comes from Greek mythology.
Antarktis is the name Antarktis was given to an island in ancient Greece by Zeus' twin brothers. According to one source, one of the twins was conceived in winter. The term antarctic is derived from this.
Others believe that the name comes from the Greek words anti meaning against and tropos meaning to turn. This would translate to land that is turned away from the sun.
Whatever the reason Antarctica holds a special fascination, people have always loved it.
It is the coldest, windiest, driest and highest continent. It is too cold for trees, plants and animals.
Yet, life is abundant in this frozen wilderness.
It houses approximately 90% of all Earth's living organisms. You can find approximately half the world's species of animal and plant plants here.
What is Antarctica? Here water freezes to ice and not evaporates into the atmosphere.
This causes large ice masses to rise above the ground.
These glaciers cover more than 80% of the continent. And they're growing larger every year.
Since 1960, the Antarctic ice sheets has grown 60ft.
If the melting continues, sea level could rise up to 200ft. That could cause massive flooding around the globe.
But not everyone thinks this is bad news. Global warming may be beneficial for some scientists. They believe that global warming will lead to melting ice sheets faster and floods that can flush toxic chemicals out of our soils and bodies.
Others warn that this theory sounds like something out of a science-fiction movie.
What dark secrets can Hollywood keep from you?
Hollywood is full of secret societies. There are secret societies that are more cult-like than others. They have members who follow specific rules and rituals. While some are clubs for those with similar interests, others are not.
Some of the most powerful organizations in the industry are even more dangerous. These include companies like the MPAA ("Motion Picture Association of America"), which determines film ratings. The RIAA ("Recording Industry Association of America") sets music licensing fees.
Numerous unions/guilds also represent actors and directors as well as writers, producers, and so forth. Most major movie studios and television networks are owned by large corporations which own these various organizations.
It doesn't matter how secretive a group might seem, someone somewhere knows what they are doing. But we don't have to fear them.
Instead, embrace them. Because they offer us information that can help us make better decision.
These people tell us what movies and songs will succeed, and which books will sell best.
They are, in short, what help us choose what we will watch, read and listen too.
Because we can trust them, we can ignore their advice when it conflicts with our tastes.
And because we've chosen to ignore them, they become even more powerful. They become the ultimate arbiters of taste.
If you don't like their words, you can choose to ignore them.
Now let's take a look at some lesser-known yet very real Hollywood secret society.
You can see why they are so vital.
How does the brain regulate the functions of the body?
To ensure that they work together, messages are sent by the brain to other organs. Everything in your body is controlled and managed by your brain. It tells your stomach to digest food and your lungs to breathe air; it tells your arms and legs to move.
Your brain is composed of billions and billions nerve cells, connected in groups called neurons. Action potentials, which are electrical signals sent by neurons to each other via axons, allow them to communicate with one another. Every neuron has a cell wall around its nucleus. Channels within the membrane allow ions such potassium and sodium to enter and leave the cells. The electric charge that causes the neuron's fire is created by ion movement.
Neurotransmitters, which are chemicals that release neurotransmitters when a neuron fires up, can be found in the space between the neurons and the next one. Neurotransmitters can bind to receptors at the second neuron. They open ions channels, allowing ions to move in and outside of the channel. The second neuron also fires.
Neurotransmitter release occurs when the presynaptic neuron receives an impulse from another neuron. The impulse travels along the synapse connecting the two neurons. The transmitter binds to receptors on the postsynaptic neuron, triggering the firing of the postsynaptic neuron.
For communication within the nervous systems, neurotransmitters are essential. They are also responsible for coordinating activity between various parts of the brain.
Did you know that there are approximately 1.6 billion metric tons of trash produced every day in the world?
The United Nations estimates that the average person generates more than 2.5 pounds of waste each day. This adds up to over 25 million pounds of garbage annually!
Most of this trash ends up in landfill dumps or incinerators. But what happens when those dumpsters get full? All that trash ends up being shipped out of country. It then gets dumped in foreign countries, polluting their ecosystems. However, now we know where all that trash goes. Mike Sexton is his real name. He is the founder of Waste Watchers. He watches over trucks that transport trash across North America. He then reports back to us on what happens next.
Sexton claims he is very satisfied with his job. CNN interviewed Sexton and said that he has a lot of fun. "We'll be following these big rigs through town. "Sexton began following truckers almost 20 year ago.
He stated, "I just fell in Love with It."
He loved the story of the driver who pulled into an abandoned gas station near Los Angeles. Sexton said that the man was searching for a place to store his stuff. "He drove along the road and saw this structure. He stopped and pulled up, then he went inside. "There were 2 large containers that had been rolled off, and they were full of stuff. The man took all the stuff out and filled up his truck with more. He then looked around and decided to load everything. There were many old tires, furniture, rags and mattresses. "It was just an absolute mess. But it was cleaned out before he came. There wasn't any trash."
This is the reason why it happened. It's because this area used to be a recycle center. People would drive from all over the country to recycle their trash. Sexton explained that people would bring home their household items, and then take them to the building. After they were done, they would dispose of the empty containers.
Now, because of the way the law works, once a container reaches its destination, it cannot be opened. So no matter how often someone takes something out of it, the thing will never be emptied.Every time the truck comes by, it has to start over again. The truck can be stopped running if it is so full of junk that it has to come back hundreds of times per week. The owner finally decides to stop using the truck.
However, trash is not the only problem on our planet.
The majority of these particles are made of small pieces of plastic. Others end up in rivers, oceans or the stomachss of fish.
Experts warn that the world may soon face a shortage of food if we don't make any changes. Experts warn that "if we keep going the way we are, we're not going make it," although scientists agree that the world is heading toward disaster. Most people, however, don't seem to be concerned.
