Deep underground military bases are known as DUMBs. These secret bases serve to preserve government life support systems and the security of citizens in the event that a natural disaster strikes. If you want to learn more about these places, read Part II of this article.
DUMBs
You aren't the only one curious about where the military bases of the world are. Many believe that advanced technology enables the military and extraterrestrials build bases at very deep depths. But most people dismiss this idea as a conspiracy theory. Revan Rising, a researcher, has data that supports his claims. He also has seismology charts that indicate volcanic and earthquake activity.
DUMBs in Niger
American military leaders believe having a base in Niger is the best way to battle Islamic State in western Africa. It's much easier to stop ISIS growing at its earliest stages than it getting stronger in cities. Even though much of what's happening at Air Base 201 is classified, it may be deterrent.
FAQ
Do you wonder how much trash is produced each day across the globe?
The United Nations estimates that the average person generates more than 2.5 pounds of waste each day. This adds up to over 25 million pounds of garbage annually!
Most of this rubbish ends up in landfills or incinerators. But, what happens when those dumpsters fill up? Where does all that rubbish go?Well, most of it gets shipped out of the country. It is then dumped in other countries, where it pollutes their ecosystems. But now, thanks to the work of one man, we know exactly where all this trash goes. Mike Sexton is his real name. He runs Waste Watchers, a company that monitors the movements of trucks carrying trash all across North America. He then gives us a report on what happens next.
Sexton states that he finds his work very fulfilling. CNN asked Sexton if he thought it was a lot of fun. "We often see large rigs passing through our town and we will follow them. "Sexton began to follow truck drivers around 20 years ago.
"It's all I felt," he stated.
His favorite story is about a driver that pulled into an abandoned gas station just outside Los Angeles. Sexton described, "The guy was looking somewhere to put his load." "He drove down the road and saw this building. So he pulled over and went inside. "There were two enormous roll-off containers filled with stuff. The guy took everything out and started filling up the truck again. "Then he took out everything and began to fill up the truck. There were tires, rags. furniture, mattresses. boxes, bottles, cans. "It was just an absolute mess. But it had been cleaned out before he came along. There was no trash."
This begs the question: Why? Well, the answer is that this particular location used to be part of a recycling center.People who learned about this facility would drive here to recycle their trash. Sexton explained that they would bring household items and take them to the building. Then, after they were done, they would empty the containers.
Now, because of the way the law works, once a container reaches its destination, it cannot be opened. So no matter how often someone takes something out of it, the thing will never be emptied.Every time the truck comes by, it has to start over again. This could happen hundreds times per week. Finally, the truck stops running completely due to its excessive junk. The truck eventually stops running and the owner decides that it is time to get rid of the vehicle.
Trash isn’t the only problem we face on the planet.
These tiny plastic particles make up the majority of the particles. Some end up in incinerators or landfills. Others end up in rivers, oceans or the stomachss of fish.
Experts warn of a possible global food crisis if nothing is done. "If we keep going like we're going, we're not going to make it," one expert warned. But even though scientists agree that the world is headed toward disaster, most people don't seem worried.
Is there a Hollywood blacklist of actors?
There is a Hollywood blacklist.
The list isn’t available for public viewing. We don't know the names. But, here's why it matters.
The reason behind the secrecy was that blacklisted directors and actors wouldn't be able find work. The studios would be out of business as they lose money. This would mean that they would cut back on movie production. This would result in fewer opportunities available for blacklisted filmmakers. Which would lead them to go bankrupt.
This could eventually lead to more victims.
In short, when someone tries to make an oscar winning movie, they might be asked to sign a contract saying they won't speak publicly against their employers. Producers and directors who want to be nominated are subject to the same restrictions.
Producers often pressure directors to cut scenes from their films. Or how directors threaten to walk away from projects that don't fit their vision.
This is why Hollywood has created a blacklist. You'll likely become unemployed if you say bad things about your employer. And that's not good for anyone.
There are many people who have been falsely accused. And they've had to fight to clear their name.
This must be stopped before it happens again. Everyone should have the right to speak freely.
Therefore, it is necessary to eliminate the Hollywood blacklist.
How does your brain control your body's functions?
The brain sends messages to other organs and muscles to ensure they work together. Your body's functions are controlled by your brain. It tells your stomach how to digest food and your lungs how to inhale oxygen; it also tells your arms, legs and feet to move.
Your brain consists of billions of nerve cells connected in groups called neurons. Action potentials, which are electrical signals sent by neurons to each other via axons, allow them to communicate with one another. Every neuron has an outer cell membrane that surrounds its nucleus. The membrane contains channels that allow ions like sodium and potassium to enter the cell and leave it. The neuron is lit by an electric charge created by the movement of ions.
When a neuron is activated, neurotransmitters release chemicals into the space between it and the next neuron. Neurotransmitters can bind to receptors at the second neuron. They open ions channels, allowing ions to move in and outside of the channel. In turn, the second neuron also fires.
Neurotransmitter production occurs when a neuron in the presynaptic receives an impulsive signal from another. The impulse travels along an synapse between the neurons. The transmitter binds with the receptors of the postsynaptic nerve, activating the firing of the postsynaptic neurons.
Neurotransmitters are important for communication within the nervous system. They coordinate brain activity among different parts.
Which is the most secretive city in the world?
This question might surprise you. It could even make you uncomfortable, because it challenges how reality is perceived and lived. There is a reason this place exists and it's not as you might expect.
It was called the City of God by ancient Greeks. It was called the City of Destruction by the Bible.
It is also called Kashi in India (Kashmir). It's known in Russia as Novgorod.
Here in America, however, it is called The Village That Disappeared.
One small New York State town with just 1,200 people vanished. A road sign pointing to the former location of the town was all that was left, except for a few bodies and cars.
This tiny town vanished without any trace. Some say the earth swallowed it up. Others say it was destroyed in a meteorite collision. Some believe that it was taken by aliens.
Whatever happened, the residents of this once-thriving community are convinced that their town isn't gone forever. They had just relocated to another town.
You can even track the disappearance of Zugspitz on a dedicated website.
The question is, where did this place go? It's in Switzerland.
Zugspitze is situated on the border between Germany und Austria. A huge lake, Lake Zugspitze, is located just beyond the summit.
It has always fascinated me that so many towns have disappeared, yet some still remain. Is it possible that some towns disappear and others are preserved? I decided to investigate.
I was interested in learning more about these mysterious towns that are disappearing. What causes a town to disappear? What makes a place disappear?
There are many theories to explain the phenomenon of disappearing towns. One theory states that a town vanishes when all its buildings are destroyed. Another theory says that the town just moves. A third theory holds that the town did not exist.
Although theories may be a bit speculative, it is a fact that numerous towns have been destroyed by the elements. This video explores the history of these towns and examines their current state.
