Several photographs of the autopsy of President Kennedy have been found in the archives. These photographs are a fascinating record of a horrifying moment in American history. These photographs are an emotional way to learn more about the assassination and capture a moment when a president was killed.
John Stringer was a former Navy photographer who took the photos. He gave it to Adm. George Burkley. James Humes became the director of National Archives. These photographs show cross-sections of Kennedy's brain. The photograph was taken during a supplementary brain examination.
Two to three days later, the supplementary examination was done. The photos were taken with a different type or film. Kennedy was photographed in Dallas, but the photos show less damage.
The National Archives released most of these records. They continued to hold on to several documents. These documents included the CE 387 official autopsy reports, as well as a drawing of an autopsy illustration and other documents. The White House has asked an archivist to draft a plan to digitize the records. The White House intends making the entire collection online.

However, many other records related to the assassination remain hidden from public view. Many of these records are stored in College Park (Maryland). Many of these documents were recently digitized at the National Archives. Nevertheless, some records were still scheduled for release in October 2017. However, President George H. W. Bush passed a law requiring that all assassination records be released by October 2017. Donald Trump extended October 2017's deadline and ordered release of thousands more files. He also removed several documents.
FAQ
What is the most mysterious location on Earth?
Antarctica is the most mysterious continent on Earth.
Why is this place so amazing? It is unlike any other place on Earth.
It is very remote and isolated. However, there's more to this location than meets the eye.
These wild animals are also found in this natural wonder.
So let's explore how this remarkable destination became famous for its mystery.
Antarctica: The South Pole
Antarctica is named for no one. Others believe it means "land with ice". Others believe it comes from Greek mythology.
Antarktis in ancient Greece was the name given the island where Zeus' twin brother brothers were born. One of the twins was said to have been born in winter. Therefore, the name antarctic.
Others believe that it is the Greek word anti, which means against, and tropos, which refers to turning. This would translate to land that is turned away from the sun.
Whatever the reason, Antarctica has always held a special fascination for people.
It is the continent with the lowest, windiest and highest temperatures. It is too cold for trees, plants and animals.
Yet, life is abundant in this frozen wilderness.
It is home to approximately 90 percent of all life on Earth. There are about 50% of the world's animal, plant and plant species.
What is Antarctica? Here water freezes to ice and not evaporates into the atmosphere.
This causes large masses to form of ice which float high above the ground.
These glaciers are responsible for covering 80% of the continent. They're getting bigger every year.
Since 1960, the Antarctic ice sheets has grown 60ft.
If the melting goes on, the sea level may rise by as much as 200 feet. This could lead to massive flooding across the globe.
Not everyone believes this is bad news. Some scientists believe that global warming can be beneficial. They believe that global warming will lead to melting ice sheets faster and floods that can flush toxic chemicals out of our soils and bodies.
Others, however, warn that this theory sounds almost like a plot for a science fiction film.
What is your most secretive community?
You might be surprised at the answer. It could even make you uncomfortable, because it challenges how reality is perceived and lived. But there is a reason that this place exists. It isn't what you would expect.
The City of God was its name by the ancient Greeks. It was called the City of Destruction by the Bible.
It is called Kashi (Kashmir in India). In Russia, it's called Novgorod.
However, in America it is called The Town that Disappeared.
A small community of 1200 people in western New York State vanished. It was abandoned without any remains, including no bodies, cars, or houses. The only thing that survived was a road sign, which pointed to its former location.
This tiny town vanished without any trace. Some believe it was swallowed by the earth. Others claim that a meteorite hit destroyed it. Some claim that it was destroyed by a meteorite strike. Others still believe it was stolen away by aliens.
Regardless of what happened, residents of this once-thriving town are certain that their town won't be forgotten forever. They had just moved to another town.
There's even a website that tracks the disappearances and recoveries of Zugspitz.
So where is this town? Well, it's in Switzerland!
The border of Austria and Germany is at Zugspitze. Lake Zugspitze can be found just beyond the summit.
It has always fascinated my that so many towns have disappeared but others still exist. Why do some disappear while others survive? I decided to investigate.
I wanted to learn more about mysteriously disappearing towns. What causes a community to disappear? How can one place become extinct?
There are many theories to explain the phenomenon of disappearing towns. One theory suggests that a community disappears when all of its buildings are removed. Another theory says that the town just moves. A third theory claims that the town never existed at all.
Theories aside, the fact remains that dozens of towns around the globe have been swallowed up by the ground. This video examines the history and current status of these places.
Do you wonder how much trash is produced each day across the globe?
The United Nations estimates that the average person generates more than 2.5 pounds of waste each day. This adds up to over 25 million pounds of garbage annually!
Most of the trash ends up at incinerators and landfills. But, what happens to those dumpsters? Where does all that rubbish go?Well, most of it gets shipped out of the country. The rest is dumped abroad, where it pollutes other ecosystems. Now, we know the exact location of all this garbage. Mike Sexton is his nickname. He is the founder of Waste Watchers. He watches over trucks that transport trash across North America. He then reports back to us on what happens next.
Sexton says he finds his job very satisfying. CNN interviewed Sexton and said that he has a lot of fun. "We often see large rigs passing through our town and we will follow them. "Sexton started following truck drivers nearly 20 years ago.
He stated, "I just fell in Love with It."
His favorite story is about a driver that pulled into an abandoned gas station just outside Los Angeles. "The guy was looking for someplace to put his load," Sexton recalled. "He drove down the street and saw this building. So he backed up and went inside. "There were two enormous roll-off containers filled with stuff. The man got everything out of the truck and began filling it up again. "Then, he took everything out and started filling up the truck again. There were lots of old tires, rags furniture, mattresses, mattresses, cans, cans, and other items. "It was a complete mess. But it had been cleared out before he arrived. There wasn't any trash."
This is the reason why it happened. Well, the answer is that this particular location used to be part of a recycling center.People who learned about this facility would drive here to recycle their trash. Sexton explained that people would bring home their household items, and then take them to the building. After they were done, they would dispose of the empty containers.
This can happen hundreds of times a week. The truck can be stopped running if it is so full of junk that it has to come back hundreds of times per week. The owner eventually abandons the vehicle.
Trash isn’t the only problem we face on the planet.
Many of these tiny plastic pieces end up in landfills and incinerators. Some end up in rivers and oceans, while others end up in fish's stomachs.
Experts warn that the world may soon face a shortage of food if we don't make any changes. Experts warn, "If you keep going like you're going," we could soon face a global food shortage. But most people don't seem to be worried, even though scientists are unanimous in warning us that the world is heading towards disaster.
How does the brain control the functions of your body?
The brain communicates with other organs to ensure their cooperation. The brain controls everything that happens in your body. It tells your stomach to digest food and your lungs to breathe air; it tells your arms and legs to move.
Your brain is made of billions, or neurons, of nerve cells. Action potentials, which are electrical signals sent by neurons to each other via axons, allow them to communicate with one another. Every neuron has an outer cell membrane that surrounds its nucleus. Channels within the membrane allow ions such potassium and sodium to enter and leave the cells. Ion movement is what causes the neurons to fire.
When a neuron fires, chemicals called neurotransmitters are released into the space between the neuron and the next neuron. Neurotransmitters are able to bind to receptors in the second neuron. This opens ion channels that allow ions to flow in and out. As a result, second neuron fires as well.
Neurotransmitter release occurs when the presynaptic neuron receives an impulse from another neuron. An impulse travels along a synaptic link between the two neuron. The transmitter binds to receptors on the postsynaptic neuron, triggering the firing of the postsynaptic neuron.
For communication within the nervous systems, neurotransmitters are essential. They also help coordinate activity between different parts of the brain.

How To
American history secret societies and clubs
American History is fascinating because of many reasons. Their mystery is just one reason. Another reason is their influence on our society.
American history has seen secret societies and clubs used to promote ideas that were otherwise taboo. These ideas include anti-Semitism and racism. These groups also contributed to the spread of political ideologies, such as communism & socialism.
The Ku Klux Klan was the most famous American group. This group was formed in 1865 after the Civil War ended. Its purpose is to protect white people from African Americans.
Other organizations established during this period were the Knights Templars and Freemasons. All of these groups shared similar beliefs and goals.
Another interesting aspect of secret societies is that they often had memberships restricted to males only. However, these groups had some female members. These women included Emma Goldman. Margaret Sanger and Susan B Anthony.
Other secret societies, aside from the ones mentioned, did not share the same ideals. The Order of Skull & Bones for instance was founded in 1832. Their goal was to create an elite class within the United States.
