FAQ

What dark secrets can Hollywood keep from you?

Hollywood is full of secret societies. Some secret societies are cultlike groups that have strict rules and rituals. Other clubs are for people who share common interests.

But there are also more nefarious organizations that control much of the industry. There are companies like the MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America), who sets film ratings and the RIAA, which sets music licensing fees.

Many unions and guilds represent actors, directors writers, producers, and others. The majority of major television networks and movie studios are owned by large corporations.

It doesn't really matter how secretive an organization may appear, there is always someone who knows exactly what they do. They shouldn't be fearful, however.

Instead, we should embrace these facts. Because they give us information that allows us to make better decisions.

They tell us what movies will likely succeed, what songs will be popular, and what books will best sell.

They are, in short, what help us choose what we will watch, read and listen too.

We can trust them so we can ignore their advice when it doesn't suit our taste.

They are more powerful than ever because we chose to ignore them. They are the supreme arbiters of taste.

If you don't like their words, you can choose to ignore them.

So now let's look at some of the lesser-known but still very real Hollywood secret societies.

And see why they're so important.

How does the brain regulate the functions of the body?

The brain relays messages to other parts of the body to ensure their functionality. Everything in your body is controlled and managed by your brain. It tells your stomach how to digest food and your lungs how to inhale oxygen; it also tells your arms, legs and feet to move.

Your brain is made of billions, or neurons, of nerve cells. Neurons communicate with each other by sending electrical signals called action potentials on axons. Every neuron has a cell wall around its nucleus. The membrane contains channels that allow ions like sodium and potassium to enter the cell and leave it. Ion movement is what causes the neurons to fire.

When a neuron fires, chemicals called neurotransmitters are released into the space between the neuron and the next neuron. Neurotransmitters bind to receptors on the second neuron, opening ion channels so ions can pass in and out of the channel. In turn, the second neuron also fires.

Neurotransmitter production occurs when a neuron in the presynaptic receives an impulsive signal from another. An impulse travels along a synaptic link between the two neuron. The transmitter binds to the receptors on the postsynaptic neural cell, which triggers the firing of that neuron.

The nervous system relies on neurotransmitters for communication. They coordinate brain activity among different parts.

Did you know that there are approximately 1.6 billion metric tons of trash produced every day in the world?

The United Nations estimates that the average person generates more than 2.5 pounds of waste each day. This adds up to over 25 million pounds of garbage annually!

Most of the trash ends up at incinerators and landfills. But, what happens to those dumpsters? Most of that trash is shipped out of the country. The trash is then sent out of the country and dumped in countries where it pollutes ecosystems. But, one man has now discovered exactly where this rubbish goes. Mike Sexton is his full name. He owns a company called Waste Watchers. He spends his time watching trucks hauling trash around North America. He then reports back to us on what happens next.

Sexton states that he finds his work very fulfilling. "We've got a lot of fun," he told CNN. "We see big rigs coming through town and we'll follow them. "Sexton started following truck driver almost 20 years back.

He stated that he fell in love with the product.

Sexton's favorite story was about a driver who stopped at an abandoned gas station in Los Angeles. Sexton described, "The guy was looking somewhere to put his load." "He drove down the road and saw this building. So he backed up and went inside. "There were two enormous roll-off containers filled with stuff. The man got everything out of the truck and began filling it up again. He then looked around and decided to load everything. There were a bunch of old tires, rags, furniture, mattresses, boxes, bottles, cans, and whatever else. "It was just total chaos. But it had been cleaned out before he came along. There wasn't any trash anywhere."

This begs the question: Why? It's because this area used to be a recycle center. People would drive from all over the country to recycle their trash. Sexton explained, "They would bring their household goods and take them here," and they would then empty the containers.

It can happen hundreds of thousands of times per week. This can happen hundreds of times a week.Eventually, the truck becomes so overloaded with junk that it stops running. The truck eventually stops running and the owner decides that it is time to get rid of the vehicle.

But, this isn't the only problem that our planet is facing.

These tiny plastic particles make up the majority of the particles. Some end up in incinerators or landfills. Others get washed into rivers or oceans. And when they reach the ocean, they often end up in the stomachs of fish.

Experts warn of a possible global food crisis if nothing is done. Experts warn that if we continue to go the same way, we won't make it. However, scientists and most people aren't worried.

Is there a Hollywood blacklist of actors?

There is a Hollywood blacklist.

The list isn’t available for public viewing. We don't know the names. But here's why it matters.

The secret is because the directors and actors on blacklist wouldn't have any job opportunities. They would go out of business which would mean that studios would lose their money. This would mean that they would cut back on movie production. Which would mean fewer opportunities for the blacklisted filmmakers. Which would lead them to go bankrupt.

This could mean more victims.

In other words, if someone is trying to make an Oscar winning movie, they might have to sign a contract that says they won't speak openly against their employers. Producers and directors who want to be nominated are subject to the same restrictions.

Producers often pressure directors to cut scenes from their films. Or directors threaten to walk out of projects that don’t match their vision.

This is the reason there is a Hollywood blacklist. If you are negative about your employer, you'll most likely go unemployed. This is bad news for anyone.

The problem is that many people have been falsely accused. And they've had to fight to clear their name.

This is unacceptable behavior and must be stopped. We must ensure that everyone has the right to express themselves freely.

Therefore, it is necessary to eliminate the Hollywood blacklist.
