Is 1969's Moon Landing a ruse? Three Conspiracy Theories about Nuking the Moon

greatest secrets of the world

Although the United States did land on the Moon in 1969 (the United States), conspiracy theorists continue to debate the authenticity of the mission. A study from 2013 found that 7 percent of Americans believe the Moon landing was fabricated. These people argue that photos show inconsistencies in the shadows. They also assert that the photographs were taken using artificial light sources. Others believe the Moon landing was faked to draw attention the Vietnam War. Some believe the pictures were even manipulated.

NASA had six astronauts who were to be sent to the Moon by 1960. However, there was not enough money to do all of the Moon landings. In 1969, NASA had about 411,000 employees. The Apollo program accounted for sixty percent the budget. In the same year Soviet Union began sending unmanned spacecrafts to the Moon. Soviets also noticed that the Moon was extremely bright. Scientists were unable to believe that life existed on the Moon. But, scientists were not certain that they would find life on the Moon.

most kept secrets

Money is the first conspiratorial theory. NASA would need to build a wall of millions upon millions of laser lights if the Moon landing was fabricated. It would have looked almost like pixels on an LCD screen. This would cost a large amount of money. This would cost approximately $504 million.

Another conspiracy theory concerns the Cold War. Many believe NASA deliberately concealed the secret to protect its relationship with the Soviet Union. However, there are others who argue that the budget was cut because of the Cold War. They also believe that the astronauts would not be able to survive the trip. Because they would have been exposed radiation, this argument is also made. After returning from the Moon, they would be quarantined for 21 consecutive days.

The third conspiracy theory is the Flat Earth Society. Flat Earth Society claims the Earth is flat and can't be orbited. They also claim that Disney sponsored fake Moon landings. However, the group has been proven to be incorrect. It is possible for a conspiracy not to be revealed for long periods of time. David Grimes, an Oxford physicist, says that the secret could be kept hidden for as long as three years or eighteen months.

Fourth conspiracy theory is that the Apollo astronauts were bribed. Many believe that NASA would have to pay huge sums of money to its employees in order to keep them quiet. NASA employees make $62,500 on average. This would mean that the money needed to fake the moon landing would be six times larger than the money it cost to create a wall of laser lights.

creepy facts about the world

These are only a few conspiracy theories that have circulated for almost fifty years. There are many conspiracy theories that have attracted public attention. It's still not clear how these theories have become so popular.

What is the most fascinating fact about the human body

There are two eyes, two ears. Two nostrils. Four limbs. A mouth, nose and penis. Yes, more than 50 parts to our bodies. But one thing is missing. A heart.

A heart is a pump that circulates blood throughout the body. The blood travels through the veins and arteries, transporting oxygen and nutrients to cells. It also removes carbon dioxide.

Each minute, the heart pumps 5 liters of blood. This is equivalent in daily coffee consumption to an adult who consumes approximately 2 to 3 cups.

Blood flows through the heart 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. While you are sleeping, your heart beats about 100 times per second.

Skin color can be used to determine if someone has a medical condition. Looking closely at the skin's surface, you can see tiny blood vessels called capillaries. These tiny vessels transport blood from the larger blood vessels to the heart. If blood flow is blocked, skin can turn blue or purple.

People with sickle cell disease lack red blood cells. They become very sick when their blood becomes hardened and sticky.

If you cut yourself, a bandage is applied to stop the bleeding. The wound must remain open for blood to flow properly. To do this, doctors insert a needle through the skin into the vein next to the injury. This allows blood drainage from the injury area.

A doctor can also insert tubes (catheters), into an artery in the vicinity of where blood clots form. This keeps the patient occupied until the clot is broken down naturally.

How does your brain control your body's functions?

The brain relays messages to other parts of the body to ensure their functionality. The brain controls everything that happens in your body. It tells both your stomach and lungs what to do; it also controls your legs and arms.

Your brain is made up billions of nerve cell networks connected in groups known as neurons. Neurons communicate with each other by sending electrical signals called action potentials on axons. Each neuron has its own cell membrane around its nucleus. Channels within the membrane allow ions such potassium and sodium to enter and leave the cells. The neuron fires when there is ion movement.

When a neuron fires, chemicals called neurotransmitters are released into the space between the neuron and the next neuron. Neurotransmitters bind with receptors on the second nerve cell, opening ion channel channels to allow ions in and out. As a result, the second neuron fires too.

When a presynaptic nerve receives an impulse, neurotransmitter release takes place. An impulse travels along a synapse that connects the two neurons. The transmitter binds to the receptors on the postsynaptic neural cell, which triggers the firing of that neuron.

Neurotransmitters are important for communication within the nervous system. They coordinate brain activity among different parts.

Ever wonder how much trash gets produced each day around the world?

According to the United Nations, the average person produces over 2.5 pounds of daily waste. That adds up to over 25 billion pounds of garbage per year!

Most of this rubbish ends up in landfills or incinerators. But, what happens when those dumpsters fill up? Where does all that rubbish go?Well, most of it gets shipped out of the country. The trash is then sent out of the country and dumped in countries where it pollutes ecosystems. But, one man has now discovered exactly where this rubbish goes. Mike Sexton is his full name. He runs a company called Waste Watchers. He spends his days watching the movements of trucks transporting trash across North America. He then reports back about what happens next.

Sexton says he finds his job very satisfying. CNN spoke with Sexton that they have a lot fun. "We see these big trucks coming through town, so we'll keep following them. "Sexton began following truckers almost 20 year ago.

He stated, "I just fell in Love with It."

Sexton's favorite story was about a driver who stopped at an abandoned gas station in Los Angeles. "The guy was looking for someplace to put his load," Sexton recalled. "He drove down the road and saw this building. He stopped and pulled up, then he went inside. "There were two large roll-off containers full of stuff. The man took all the stuff out and filled up his truck with more. "Then he took out everything and began to fill up the truck. There were a bunch of old tires, rags, furniture, mattresses, boxes, bottles, cans, and whatever else. "It was just an absolute mess. It had been cleaned up before he arrived. There wasn't any trash anywhere."

Why did this happen? It's because this area used to be a recycle center. People would drive from all over the country to recycle their trash. Sexton explained, "They would bring their household goods and take them here," and they would then empty the containers.

This can happen hundreds of times a week. The truck can be stopped running if it is so full of junk that it has to come back hundreds of times per week. And eventually, the owner decides to abandon the vehicle.

Trash, however, isn't the only problem facing our planet. As you may have noticed, things are getting worse.According to experts, pollution levels have risen dramatically in recent years.More than half of all water bodies on Earth are polluted.Pollution from industrial chemicals has increased by more than 30 percent since 1980.Even the air we breathe is becoming increasingly toxic.A study by the World Health Organization found that the average person inhales around 100 million particles daily.

Plastic pieces make up most of these particles. Others get washed into rivers or oceans. And when they reach the ocean, they often end up in the stomachs of fish.

Experts warn that if there is no change, the world could soon be facing a food shortage. Experts warn, "If you keep going like you're going," we could soon face a global food shortage. But most people don't seem to be worried, even though scientists are unanimous in warning us that the world is heading towards disaster.

What is the most secretive place in the world, and why?

It may surprise you to hear the answer. It may even make it uncomfortable, as it challenges our perceptions of reality and our lives. But there is an explanation for why this place exists, and it's not what you would expect.

It was also called the City of God in ancient Greek. It was called the City of Destruction by the Bible.

It's also known as Kashi (Kashmir) in India. It's known in Russia as Novgorod.

However, in America it is called The Town that Disappeared.

One small New York State town with just 1,200 people vanished. A road sign pointing to the former location of the town was all that was left, except for a few bodies and cars.

This little community vanished and no trace remains to indicate where or when it disappeared. Some believe it was swallowed by the earth. Others say it was destroyed in a meteorite collision. Some believe that it was taken by aliens.

The people of this once-thriving community, however, are positive that the town won't disappear forever. They had just moved from one town to the other.

There's even a website that tracks the disappearances and recoveries of Zugspitz.

You might be wondering where this town went. Well, it's in Switzerland!

Zugspitze lies on the border between Austria and Germany. Lake Zugspitze lies just above the summit of the mountain.

It has always fascinated my that so many towns have disappeared but others still exist. What is the difference between some towns that disappear and others that survive? I decided to investigate.

I was curious about the disappearing towns. Is it possible for a place to vanish? How does one place go extinct?

It turns out that there are several theories about the phenomenon of vanishing towns. One theory is that a city disappears after all buildings have been demolished. Another theory holds that the town simply relocates to another location. A third theory holds that the town did not exist.

No matter what theories you may have, there is no doubt that many towns across the globe were swallowed by the ground. This video examines the history and current status of these places.
