This question might surprise you. It might even make you uncomfortable because it challenges our perception of reality and how we live. However, there's a reason for this place to exist. It's not what we would expect.

The ancient Greeks called it the City of God. In the Bible, it was known as the City of Destruction.

It's also known as Kashi (Kashmir) in India. It is called Novgorod (Russia).

Here in America, however, it is called The Village That Disappeared.

One small community in western New York State with 1,200 residents vanished without a trace. No bodies, cars, houses, nothing was left behind except a road sign pointing to its former location.

This little town disappeared, leaving no clues about where it went or when. Some believe it was swallowed by the earth. Others claim a meteorite strike destroyed it. Some claim that it was destroyed by a meteorite strike. Others still believe it was stolen away by aliens.

This could lead to more victims.

Ever wonder how much trash gets produced each day around the world?

According to the United Nations the average person creates more than 2.5 lbs of waste daily. That adds up over 25 billion kilos of garbage every year.

Most of the trash ends up at incinerators and landfills. But, what happens to those dumpsters? Where does all that rubbish go?Well, most of it gets shipped out of the country. It is then dumped in other countries, where it pollutes their ecosystems.But now, thanks to the work of one man, we know exactly where all this trash goes. Mike Sexton is his nickname. He runs a company called Waste Watchers.He spends his days watching the movements of trucks transporting trash across North America. He then gives us a report on what happens next.

Sexton claims he is very satisfied with his job. CNN spoke with Sexton that they have a lot fun. "You know, we see these big rigs come through town, and we'll follow them. "Sexton started following truck drivers nearly 20 years ago.

He said, "I fell in love with it."

His favorite story involved a driver who pulled off at an abandoned gas station near Los Angeles. Sexton described, "The guy was looking somewhere to put his load." "He drove down the road and saw this building. So he pulled over and went inside. "There were two huge roll-off containers there filled with stuff. The guy took everything out and started filling up the truck again. He then looked around and decided to load everything. There were tires, rags. furniture, mattresses. boxes, bottles, cans. "It was just a total mess. But it had been cleaned out before he came along. There wasn’t trash everywhere."

What is the explanation? Well, the answer is that this particular location used to be part of a recycling center.People who learned about this facility would drive here to recycle their trash. Sexton said that people would bring their household items to the building and then leave empty containers behind.
