Edward Snowden has written The United States of Secrets. This book will fundamentally change our perception of government surveillance. Snowden was able access thousands of top-secret documents via a highly secured government computer network. These documents were used by Snowden for investigating the secret history a surveillance program that began shortly after September 11th attacks.
Edward Snowden
Edward Snowden has been a whistleblower and exposed many secrets within the United States government. He was born North Carolina but was raised central Maryland. He dropped out high school early and attended a part time community college. He was later discharged from the army four months later as a special forces soldier. During this period, he started downloading classified documents about U.S. Intelligence Operations and Partnerships with Foreign Countries.

The warrantless wiretapping programs of the NSA
The United States government has been facing lawsuits challenging the warrantless wiretapping program. The program involves mass interceptions of all communications between Americans and foreign telephone lines. These recordings were used by the government as a way to monitor terrorists. These recordings are legally claimed by the government.
The Trailblazer Project
The controversial Trailblazer Project in America is a program that reorganized data collection by the NSA. ThinThread was the original program that allowed the NSA to access data online without warrants. This program also encrypts personal data to protect privacy rights. However, NSA employees claimed that the program did not work and was a waste taxpayer money. As a result, the FBI raided their homes in an effort to uncover what was happening.
Top-secret catfish of the CIA
A robotic catfish called Charlie is a secret weapon of the CIA. It was designed to collect underwater signals. It is equipped with a microphone on its body and a propulsion device in its tail. It was created to look like a real catfish, and can swim underwater without being seen. Agents controlled the robot via wireless line-ofsight control, so it is hard to spot.

The CIA's Atomic bomb Project
The CIA's atomic weapon project started in the early 1940s as British and German scientists began exploring the possibility. Harold C. Urey was with Pegram when he traveled to England to attempt to coordinate a cooperative effort. A joint policy committee with Canada and Great Britain was created in 1943. Many scientists made the move to the United States in this time period to continue their studies. The project included several research lines at the time, including the development of technology to make atomic bombs. In addition, explosive materials needed to be made suitable for the actual weapon.
FAQ
Is there an Hollywood blacklist?
There is a Hollywood blacklist.
The list isn’t available for public viewing. As far as we are aware, the names are not even known. Here's why this matters.
The reason for the secrecy is that the blacklisted actors and directors wouldn't be able to find jobs. Thus, they would leave the industry and studios will lose money. This would mean that they would cut back on movie production. The blacklisted filmmakers would have fewer chances. Which would lead them to go bankrupt.
This could result in even more victims.
If someone attempts to make an Oscar-winning movie, they may be asked to sign a contract stating that they will not speak out against their employers. Any director or producer who would like to be nominated for an award is subject to the same rules.
That's why you hear stories about how producers pressure directors to remove scenes from their films. Directors threaten to abandon projects that don’t conform to their vision.
This is why Hollywood has a blacklist. If you make negative comments about your employer, it's likely that you will be unemployed. It's not good for anyone.
There are many people who have been falsely accused. It's been a struggle to get their names cleared.
This must be stopped before it happens again. Everybody should be able to freely express themselves.
Also, we must take down the Hollywood blacklist.
Have you ever wondered what amount of trash is generated each day worldwide?
The United Nations estimates that the average person generates more than 2.5 pounds of waste each day. This adds up to over 25 million pounds of garbage annually!
Most of this rubbish ends up in landfills or incinerators. But, what happens when those dumpsters fill up? All that trash ends up being shipped out of country. It is then dumped in other countries, where it pollutes their ecosystems. But now, thanks to the work of one man, we know exactly where all this trash goes. His name is Mike Sexton. He runs Waste Watchers, a company that monitors the movements of trucks carrying trash all across North America. Then he reports back to us about what happens next.
Sexton said he enjoys his job. "We've got a lot of fun," he told CNN. "You know, we see these big rigs come through town, and we'll follow them. "Sexton started following truck drivers nearly 20 years ago.
"I just fell in love with it," he said.
His favorite story is about a driver that pulled into an abandoned gas station just outside Los Angeles. "The guy was looking for someplace to put his load," Sexton recalled. "He drove along the road and saw this structure. He backed up and entered the building. "There were two large roll-off containers full of stuff. The man took all the stuff out and filled up his truck with more. "The man looked around the area and decided to unload all of it. There were lots of old tires, rags furniture, mattresses, mattresses, cans, cans, and other items. "It was just a total mess. But it had been cleared out before he arrived. There wasn't any trash."
This is the reason why it happened. It's because this area used to be a recycle center. People would drive from all over the country to recycle their trash. "They'd bring their household items and take them to this building," Sexton explained. And after they finished, they would leave the empty containers behind.
This could happen hundreds of time per week. The truck can be stopped running if it is so full of junk that it has to come back hundreds of times per week. The owner eventually decides to dump the truck.
But, this isn't the only problem that our planet is facing.
Most of these particles are made up of tiny pieces of plastic. Some of these plastics end up in landfills or incinerators. Others end up in rivers, oceans or the stomachss of fish.
Experts warn of a possible global food crisis if nothing is done. Experts warn that if we continue to go the same way, we won't make it. However, scientists and most people aren't worried.

Which is the most mysterious spot on Earth?
Antarctica is considered the most mysterious area on Earth.
Why is this place so amazing? Because it is unlike anything else on Earth.
It is very remote and isolated. This site has more to it than meets your eye.
Some of the most bizarre wildlife species can also be found in this natural wonder.
Let's now see how this amazing destination came to be so well-known for its mystery.
Antarctica: The South Pole
Antarctica is named for no one. Some believe it is "land of the ice". Others believe it comes out of Greek mythology.
Antarktis is the name Antarktis was given to an island in ancient Greece by Zeus' twin brothers. According to one source, one of the twins was conceived in winter. Hence, the word antarctic.
Others believe that the name comes from the Greek words anti meaning against and tropos meaning to turn. This would translate to land that is turned away from the sun.
Whatever the reason Antarctica has always been a fascination for people.
It is the highest, coldest, windiest, dryest, and most populated continent. Because it is so cold, there aren't any trees, plants or animals.
And yet, this frozen wasteland is teeming with life.
It is home to approximately 90 percent of all life on Earth. Here are approximately 50% of all the animal and plant species in the world.
And what makes Antarctica such a unique environment? Here, water freezes and becomes ice instead of evaporated into the air.
This results in large masses of ice floating above the ground.
These glaciers are responsible for covering 80% of the continent. And they're growing larger every year.
The Antarctic ice sheet has grown 60ft since 1960.
If the melting continues, sea level could rise up to 200ft. This could lead worldwide flooding.
This is not necessarily bad news. Global warming may be beneficial for some scientists. They suggest that rising temperatures could cause ice sheet melt faster, leading to floods that flush out toxic chemicals from soil and bodies.
Others warn that this theory sounds like something out of a science-fiction movie.
