According to the United Nations there are more than 25 billion tons of garbage produced each year.
Many of this trash ends in landfill dumps, or incinerators. But what happens if those dumpsters are full? Most of that trash is shipped out of the country. The trash is then sent out of the country and dumped in countries where it pollutes ecosystems. But, one man has now discovered exactly where this rubbish goes. Mike Sexton is his nickname. He is the owner of Waste Watchers. His job involves monitoring the movements and routes of trash trucks across North America. He then reports back to us on what happens next.
Sexton claims he is very satisfied with his job. CNN asked Sexton if he thought it was a lot of fun. "We see big rigs coming through town and we'll follow them. "Sexton began to follow truck drivers around 20 years ago.
He said, "I fell in love with it."
Sexton's favorite story was about a driver who stopped at an abandoned gas station in Los Angeles. Sexton described, "The guy was looking somewhere to put his load." "He drove down the street and saw this building. He backed up and entered the building. "There was a pair of large, full-sized roll-off boxes. The man got everything out of the truck and began filling it up again. "The man looked around the area and decided to unload all of it. There were many old tires, furniture, rags and mattresses. "It was just total chaos. But it had been cleaned out before he came along. There wasn’t trash everywhere."
What is the explanation? This particular spot used to be a recycling center. People would drive there to recycle their trash. Sexton explained that people would bring home their household items, and then take them to the building. After they were done, they would dispose of the empty containers.
It can happen hundreds of thousands of times per week. This can happen hundreds of times a week.Eventually, the truck becomes so overloaded with junk that it stops running. And eventually, the owner decides to abandon the vehicle.
But, this isn't the only problem that our planet is facing.

It is the continent with the lowest, windiest and highest temperatures. Because it is so cold, there aren't any trees, plants or animals.

This causes large masses to form of ice which float high above the ground.
These floating glaciers make up 80%. They're getting bigger every year.
Since 1960, the Antarctic ice sheets has grown 60ft.
If the melting continues, the sea level will rise by up to 200 feet. This could lead to widespread flooding.
But not everyone thinks this is bad news. Some scientists believe that global warming can be beneficial. They suggest that rising temperatures could cause ice sheet melt faster, leading to floods that flush out toxic chemicals from soil and bodies.
However, others caution that this theory sounds a lot like a plot in a science fiction movie.
Why do actors get blacklisted?

Sometimes, your performance as a fictional character can be ridiculed. Maybe you play a gay man, and everyone thinks you're straight. You could also play a woman with a tendency to cry a lot, even though she's supposed to be tough.
Maybe you are asked to change your vocal chords. Sometimes, they want you to sound more like a man or a woman. Most times, though, they want you to sound better.
These criticisms should be ignored. Actors sometimes feel like failures when they hear they were wrong. The truth is they haven’t done anything wrong.
They were not born with the talent that would make them famous. Sometimes they don't fit that bill no matter how hard or if they try.

It's amazing to see how the industry responds to their mistakes. We've all heard about celebrities who took too much alcohol and drugs. Some even died young because of it.
It's worse when stars make public their problems, and then are ignored by everyone. This is where we ended up last week.
Heath Ledger lost his long and successful career. After a short battle with death, Heath Ledger succumbed to prescription pills.
His family and close friends had difficulty accepting his death. The media took to him publically.
Heath was once considered to be one of today's most talented actors. His performance in Brokeback Mountain earned him two Academy Awards nominations.
Heath not only acted, but also wrote and directed films including A Knight's Tale. Monster's Ball. Iron Man.
Hollywood loved Heath. However, he quickly grew too large. He began to drink heavily and took drugs. He eventually went to rehab and was clean.

We don't believe Heath should have been allowed to go back into the entertainment industry. It would have been nice, however, if he had received some help before things got out of control.
