FAQ
What is the most mysterious area on earth?
Antarctica is the world's most mysterious place on Earth.
Why do we find this place so intriguing? Because it is unlike anything else on Earth.
It is difficult to access because it is remote and extremely isolated. There is much more to this place than meets the eyes.
You will also find some of the oddest wildlife species in this natural wonder.
Let's find out how this mysterious destination became so famous.
Antarctica, The South Pole
No one knows exactly why Antarctica was named Antarctica. Some believe it means "land of ice." Others believe it derives from Greek mythology.
In ancient Greece, Antarktis was the name given to the island where Zeus' twin brothers were born. According to some legends, one of these twins was born in winter. The term antarctic is derived from this.
Others believe that the name is a combination of the Greek words anti and tropos which mean against and turn. This would be land turned away form the sun.
Whatever the reason, Antarctica has always held a special fascination for people.
It is the highest, coldest, windiest, dryest, and most populated continent. There are no trees, plants, or animals here because it is too cold.
And yet, this frozen wasteland is teeming with life.
It houses approximately 90% of all Earth's living organisms. You can find approximately half the world's species of animal and plant plants here.
What is the secret to Antarctica's unique environment? Here, water freezes into ice instead of evaporating into the air.
This causes large ice masses to rise above the ground.
These glaciers are responsible for covering 80% of the continent. They're getting bigger every year.
The Antarctic Ice Sheet has grown 60 feet in the past 60 years.
The sea level will rise up to 200 feet if melting continues. It could result in massive flooding all over the world.
Not everyone believes this is bad news. Global warming may be beneficial for some scientists. They say that as temperatures rise, the ice sheets might melt faster, causing floods that flush out tons of toxic chemicals from our soil and bodies.
Others, however, warn that this theory sounds almost like a plot for a science fiction film.
Why are actors blacklisted?
Actors are more likely to be rejected than writers. An actor will probably be rejected quite often. It doesn't matter if you get rejected a lot because eventually you'll meet someone you love.
Actors are usually very talented, meaning they can make a living almost anywhere. Actors aren't always interested in making a living. Actors love acting and storytelling. It's likely that you will be acting if your passion is acting.
It is possible to be told that you are not suitable for the role, or that you are too old or too young. You might also lose your audition for a film role. It happens all too often.
Once you've been cast you might also be subject to criticism. Many people will tell you you look horrible or that you shouldn't be wearing make-up. If you're lucky, you won't even hear negative comments.
Sometimes, you might be criticised for playing a role that isn’t authentic or realistic. You could be a gay actor and everyone assumes you are straight. Or maybe you play a woman who is supposed to be tough, but she cries a lot.
Sometimes, they ask you to change your voice. Sometimes, they will ask you to sound more like a woman or a man. Most times, though, they want you to sound better.
Negative criticisms are best ignored. Actors often feel like they've failed if they're told they did something wrong. But the truth is that they haven't done anything wrong.
They weren't born with the talents that made them famous. Sometimes they don't fit that bill no matter how hard or if they try.
There are many reasons an actor might be blacklisted. Some people don't like actors. Others feel that actors are lazy. Others still believe that actors cheat.
Whatever the reason, it's important to realize that you will not get blacklisted if you keep trying. There are many opportunities for you to find your role.
Keep trying and you will eventually succeed.

Do you wonder how much trash is produced each day across the globe?
The United Nations states that an average person produces more than 2.5 pounds of waste per day. That's over 25 billion pounds of garbage each year!
Most of the trash ends up at incinerators and landfills. But, what happens to those dumpsters? Most of that trash is shipped out of the country. It is then dumped in other countries, where it pollutes their ecosystems. But now, thanks to the work of one man, we know exactly where all this trash goes. Mike Sexton is his nickname. He owns a company called Waste Watchers. He spends his time watching trucks hauling trash around North America. He then reports back about what happens next.
Sexton claims he is very satisfied with his job. CNN interviewed Sexton and said that he has a lot of fun. "We often see large rigs passing through our town and we will follow them. "Sexton began following truckers almost 20 year ago.
"I just fell in love with it," he said.
Sexton's favorite story was about a driver who stopped at an abandoned gas station in Los Angeles. Sexton remembered, "The man was looking for somewhere to put the load." "He drove down the road to see this building. He backed up and entered the building. "There were two large roll-off containers full of stuff. The man removed everything from the truck and started to load it again. "Then, he took everything out and started filling up the truck again. There were old tires and rags, furniture pieces, mattresses, mattresses and boxes. "It was just total chaos. It had been cleaned up before he arrived. There wasn't any trash."
This is the reason why it happened. The answer is that this location was once part of a recycling facility. People who knew about it would drive to this location to recycle their garbage. Sexton explained that they would bring household items and take them to the building. Then, after they were done, they would empty the containers.
It can happen hundreds of thousands of times per week. This can happen hundreds of times a week.Eventually, the truck becomes so overloaded with junk that it stops running. The owner eventually decides to dump the truck.
Trash isn’t the only problem we face on the planet.
Most of these particles are made up of tiny pieces of plastic. Some of these plastics end up in landfills or incinerators. Some of these plastics end up in rivers or oceans.
Experts warn us that we may soon face an international food shortage if things don't change. Experts warn, "If you keep going like you're going," we could soon face a global food shortage. But most people don't seem to be worried, even though scientists are unanimous in warning us that the world is heading towards disaster.

American history is full of secret societies and clubs
American History is fascinating because of many reasons. They are mysterious because of this. Another reason is their influence on our society.
Secret societies and clubs have been used throughout America's history to promote ideas that would otherwise be considered taboo. Some of these ideas include racism and anti-Semitism. These groups also helped spread political ideologies such as communism and socialism.
The Ku Klux Klan is the most prominent American organization. This group was founded in 1865 following the Civil War. Its purpose is to protect white people from African Americans.
Other organizations that were created in this period include the Knights Templar (Freemasons), and Odd Fellows. These groups had the same goals and beliefs.
Another interesting thing about secret societies is the fact that membership was often restricted to males. However, some women belonged to these groups. These women included Emma Goldman, Margaret Sanger, and Susan B Anthony.
In addition to the groups mentioned above, other secret societies did not share the same ideals. The Order of Skull & Bones is an example of a secret society that was established in 1832. Their goal: to create an elite American class.
