Sexton said he enjoys his job. CNN spoke with Sexton that they have a lot fun. "We see these big trucks coming through town, so we'll keep following them. "Sexton began following truck drivers almost 20 years ago.
"It's all I felt," he stated.
He loved the story of the driver who pulled into an abandoned gas station near Los Angeles. "The guy was looking for someplace to put his load," Sexton recalled. "He drove down the road to see this building. He backed up and entered the building. "There were 2 large containers that had been rolled off, and they were full of stuff. He took out everything and began to fill up the truck. "Then, he took everything out and started filling up the truck again. There were a bunch of old tires, rags, furniture, mattresses, boxes, bottles, cans, and whatever else. It was a complete mess. It had been cleaned up before he arrived. There wasn't any trash anywhere."
So why did this happen? The answer is that this location was once part of a recycling facility. People who knew about it would drive to this location to recycle their garbage. Sexton explained that they would bring household items and take them to the building. Then, after they were done, they would empty the containers.
You might see this happen hundreds of times a day. The truck can be stopped running if it is so full of junk that it has to come back hundreds of times per week. And eventually, the owner decides to abandon the vehicle.
Trash is not the only problem our planet faces.
The majority of these particles are made of small pieces of plastic. Others end up in rivers, oceans or the stomachss of fish.
