Some places on Earth are beyond reach of the average human. Some places are restricted to the wealthy, while others are for the less fortunate. These are the most secret places on earth that most of us will never have the chance to visit. Continue reading to learn more about these hidden places and where to visit them.
Menwith Hill Royal Air Force Station
Menwith Hill Royal Air Force Station hosts US drone operations. These missions are kept secret and are used to attack terrorists around the globe. They are also used by the government to monitor emails, phone calls and Google searches. The base has been operational since 1954 and previous British governments have reportedly cooperated. MPs have been repeatedly denied access, however.
Menwith Hill has been involved with several "capture/kill" operations. Snowden did not give details about the fatal incidents in his documents, but it is clear that the base was used in the massacre of hundreds civilians over the past ten years. It also played an important role in drone strikes against Yemen.
North Sentinel Island
Since 1997, North Sentinel is off limits to outsiders. Because of the risk of spreading diseases from other countries, contact with the island was banned by the Indian government. And the people on the island are not very welcoming to visitors. They have been living in isolation for more than 50,000 years. The Sentinelese actually want their island to remain isolated.

It is estimated that the population is between eighty to 150 people, although actual numbers could be significantly larger. They speak a language they have developed and live in huts built with slanted roofing. They can also make their own narrow outrigger boats and use bows and arrows. They also hunt for food and harvest crabs and fish.
Baikal
Lake Baikal, Siberia, is the deepest lake on the planet. It's also the oldest. It is home to over 1,700 species. Almost 33% of these species can only be found in the Lake. A program of ambitious research has brought together scientists from all corners of the globe and their Soviet counterparts.
The water of Lake Baikal is remarkable clean, but it is also affected by pollution. These contaminants are ingested by Epischura, the tiny creatures living near the shore. They then travel up the food chain. They accumulate in the larger fish's bodies. The endemic fish of Lake Baikal include nerpa, omul and golumyanka.
Mount Weather complex
The Mount Weather complex in Washington DC has been a secret location for decades. There are many facilities at the complex, including an emergency medical center, a crematorium and a radio and TV studio. In theory, the facility can accommodate up to 2000 people in an emergency. However, it is unlikely anyone will ever use the whole complex. The facility was temporarily restored after a major electrical power outage occurred in Washington, D.C., April 7, 2015.
Mount Weather is one of the most hidden locations in the entire world. This underground location cannot be accessed without a code. Once the code is decoded it's possible to access it. Once inside, you will find a shield and computerized surveillance system protecting the complex. There are several secret passages leading to the complex and a number of underground rooms, which contain various systems. A small area in the center of the complex is home to two underground buildings. These buildings house the major facilities of the complex.

Haiku Stairs
Haiku Stairs is a steep climb that's not recommended for the faint of heart. Haiku Stairs can be found in the Pacific Ocean. A radio station broadcasts from the area to Navy ships across the Pacific Ocean. If you want to climb these stairs, you should be physically fit and take along plenty of water.
Since 1987, the public is prohibited from using the stairs due to dangers of trespassing. It is illegal to ascend these stairs during daylight hours. This can lead to a $1000 fine. There are guards who patrol the area and police helicopters are often spotted hovering above the stairs.
FAQ
What is the most secretive location in the entire world?
You might be surprised at the answer. It might even make you uncomfortable because it challenges our perception of reality and how we live. But there is an explanation for why this place exists, and it's not what you would expect.
The City of God was its name by the ancient Greeks. According to the Bible, it was called the City of Destruction.
It is also called Kashi in India (Kashmir). It's known in Russia as Novgorod.
However, in America it is called The Town that Disappeared.
One small community in western New York State with 1,200 residents vanished without a trace. No bodies, cars, houses, nothing was left behind except a road sign pointing to its former location.
The little village vanished, with no trace of its existence. Some say the earth swallowed it up. Some claim it was destroyed by a meteorite impact. Still, others say aliens took it away.
Regardless of what happened, residents of this once-thriving town are certain that their town won't be forgotten forever. They had just relocated to another town.
There is even a website dedicated to tracking the disappearance of the lost city of Zugspitz.
So, where exactly did this town go? It's in Switzerland, actually!
You can find Zugspitze at the border of Austria and Germany. Lake Zugspitze can be found just beyond the summit.
I have always been fascinated by the fact that so many towns have vanished, but some remain. What is the difference between some towns that disappear and others that survive? I set out to find out.
I was curious about the disappearing towns. What makes a town disappear? How can a town disappear from existence?
There are many theories to explain the phenomenon of disappearing towns. One theory is that a city disappears after all buildings have been demolished. Another theory is that the town moves to another place. A third theory holds that the town did not exist.
Theories aside, the fact remains that dozens of towns around the globe have been swallowed up by the ground. This video explores the history of these towns and examines their current state.
What is one of the most amazing facts about the human body
Two eyes, two ears and two nostrils are part of our bodies. We also have four limbs: a mouth, nose, penis, and four limbs. You're correct, there are more than 50 parts in our bodies. But, one thing is missing. The heart.
The heart is a pump that circulates blood throughout your body. The blood flows through the veins and arteries to carry oxygen and nutrients to the cells.
Each minute, the heart pumps 5 liters of blood. This is equivalent to a person drinking 2-3 cups coffee daily.
The blood flows throughout the heart 24/7, 365 days a calendar. Your heart beats nearly 100 times a minute while sleeping.
You can tell whether someone is healthy or unhealthy because of the color of their skin. If you examine the skin closely, you will see tiny blood vessels called capillaries. These tiny vessels transport blood from the larger blood vessels to the heart. The skin becomes blue-colored or purple when blood flow is restricted.
People with sickle cell disease lack red blood cells. Their blood becomes very sticky and hardened, leading to serious illness.
To stop bleeding from a cut, you can apply a bandage to the wound. Blood must continue to flow to allow the wounds to heal properly. Doctors place a needle in the wound and insert it through the skin. This allows blood flow to the area that has been injured.
Doctors may also insert catheters (catheters), in an artery to treat a blood clot. This keeps patients alive until the clot has broken up naturally.
Which is the most mysterious spot on Earth?
Antarctica is considered the most mysterious area on Earth.
Why is this place so amazing? It is unlike any other place on Earth.
It is remote and difficult to reach. This site has more to it than meets your eye.
This natural wonder is also home to some of the strangest wildlife species.
So let's explore how this remarkable destination became famous for its mystery.
Antarctica, The South Pole
No one knows exactly why Antarctica was named Antarctica. Some believe it means "land of ice." Others believe it derives from Greek mythology.
Antarktis was an ancient Greek name that was given to the island where Zeus and his twin brothers, Zeus. According to some legends, one of these twins was born in winter. Therefore, the name antarctic.
Others think the name came from the Greek words anti, meaning against, and tropos meaning turn. This would signify land turned away the sun.
Whatever the reason Antarctica has always been a fascination for people.
It is also the lowest, windiest continent, driest, and highest. Because it is so cold, there aren't any trees, plants or animals.
This frozen wasteland is still alive.
About 90 percent of all living things on Earth live here. Here are approximately 50% of all the animal and plant species in the world.
What is it that makes Antarctica so unique? Here, water freezes in ice rather that vaporizing into the atmosphere.
This causes large masses to form of ice which float high above the ground.
These floating glaciers cover over 80%. They continue to grow in size each year.
The Antarctic ice has grown 60 feet so far since 1960.
The sea level will rise up to 200 feet if melting continues. That could cause massive flooding around the globe.
However, not all scientists believe this to be bad news. Some scientists think global warming might be beneficial. They say that as temperatures rise, the ice sheets might melt faster, causing floods that flush out tons of toxic chemicals from our soil and bodies.
Others cautioned that this theory sounds too science fiction.
Do you wonder how much trash is produced each day across the globe?
According to the United Nations the average person creates more than 2.5 lbs of waste daily. That adds up over 25 billion kilos of garbage every year.
Most of this trash ends up in landfill dumps or incinerators. But what happens when those dumpsters get full? Most of that trash is shipped out of the country. It is then dumped in other countries, where it pollutes their ecosystems. But now, thanks to the work of one man, we know exactly where all this trash goes. Mike Sexton is his full name. He is the owner of Waste Watchers. His job involves monitoring the movements and routes of trash trucks across North America. Then he reports back to us about what happens next.
Sexton says he finds his job very satisfying. CNN's Sexton said, "We have a lot to enjoy." "We see these big trucks coming through town, so we'll keep following them. "Sexton began following truckers almost 20 year ago.
He stated, "I just fell in Love with It."
His favorite story is about a driver that pulled into an abandoned gas station just outside Los Angeles. Sexton recalls, "The guy was searching for somewhere to put his loads." "He drove down the road and saw this building. So he backed up and went inside. "There were two enormous roll-off containers filled with stuff. The man took all the stuff out and filled up his truck with more. "Then, he took everything out and started filling up the truck again. There were a bunch of old tires, rags, furniture, mattresses, boxes, bottles, cans, and whatever else. It was a complete mess. But it was cleaned out before he came. There was no trash."
Why did this happen? It is because the location used to belong to a recycling centre. People who found out about this facility would drive to it to recycle their trash. Sexton said that people would bring their household items to the building and then leave empty containers behind.
Now, because of the way the law works, once a container reaches its destination, it cannot be opened. So no matter how often someone takes something out of it, the thing will never be emptied.Every time the truck comes by, it has to start over again. It can happen hundreds of time per week. Eventually, the truck is so full of junk it stops running. The owner eventually abandons the vehicle.
But, this isn't the only problem that our planet is facing.
Plastic pieces make up most of these particles. Some of these plastics end up in rivers or oceans.
Experts warn of a possible global food crisis if nothing is done. Experts warn that "if we keep going the way we are, we're not going make it," although scientists agree that the world is heading toward disaster. Most people, however, don't seem to be concerned.
