You might be interested in these places if your curiosity has led you to wonder where the nearest nuclear bunker is. It is possible that there are more than 100 such facilities all over the globe. These facilities are highly important for both intelligence collectors and military planners.
For instance, Finland has an impressive network of underground bunkers. They are both gas and radiation-proof and designed to protect against attacks. They are 100 times more resistant to nuclear bombs than a Nagasaki Bomb. There is also a waterpark, an indoor dog walk and swimming pool, as well a gym and a cinema.
Bunker 42 in Ismailovo District (Russia) is one of the most famous dual-use spots. It was built as a regular building in 1940 and was later converted into an underground bunker. A photo of the facility has recently been posted on Facebook. This site was nicknamed the 'doomsday bunker'.
The United States has been developing weapons to destroy foreign underground facilities, but other countries do not have the same capability. Despite the defeat of the Soviet Union, the Soviet Union's secret places remain. Some of these places are on hostile territory.

The Czech Republic, Switzerland, and Finland are just a few of the countries with many underground bunkers. They are well-equipped with modern medical technology, and they can be maintained when they're active.
During Cold War, CIA and KGB were unable to penetrate underground bunkers. The result was that local people didn’t even know they existed until 1996.
There are also super-secret underground nuclear subbases, one of them being located in Yamantau mountain, Bashkortostan. Although the Soviet government has moved to Samara, this facility remains in operation and has not been closed.
There are many bunkers across the UK. There are 20 more in Berkshire. Each one serves a different purpose. They were constructed as part of the government-run Nuclear Bunker Network and are built to withstand major attacks.
According to the National Security Archive worldwide, there are over 10,000 such facilities. Most of them are in hostile territory, and they presumably contain lethal military equipment and weapons of mass destruction. The United States does have the capability to collect information about these facilities, but it has not shared this information with other countries.

Drakelow Tunnels were once the site of an underground aircraft factory. The complex was later repurposed as a nuclear bunker in order to protect the UK from a nuclear attack. This site was selected for its fortress-like appearance. The tunnels' entrance is surrounded by a sandstone massif and a heavy-steel door.
Subterranea Britannica toured one of these bunkers during 2000. The bunker was not meant for hydrogen bombs. It was intended for 'A bombs. Inside, the bunker had a telephone room and a shower. The walls were painted to appear open.
FAQ
What dark secrets are there in Hollywood?
Hollywood is full of secret societies. Some are cult-like groups where members follow strict rules and rituals, while others are simply clubs for those who share common interests.
But there are also more nefarious organizations that control much of the industry. These include the MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America), the organization that sets film ratings and RIAA(Recording Industry Association of America), the company that sets music licensing fees.
Numerous unions/guilds also represent actors and directors as well as writers, producers, and so forth. Many of the major TV networks and movie studios are owned or controlled by large corporations.
The point is that no matter how secretive any group may seem, someone somewhere knows exactly what they do. But that doesn't mean we should fear them.
Instead, we should embrace them. Because they can help us make better decisions.
They tell us what movies will likely succeed, what songs will be popular, and what books will best sell.
They help us make decisions about what we will buy, watch, listen to, or read.
We can trust them and can disregard their advice if it is not in line with our preferences.
We choose to ignore them and they become even more powerful. They are the supreme arbiters of taste.
And if you don't like what they say, you're free to ignore them.
Let's take a closer look at some of the less-known, yet still very real Hollywood secret clubs.
You'll see why they are so important.
Do you wonder how much trash is produced each day across the globe?
According to the United Nations the average person creates more than 2.5 lbs of waste daily. That adds up over 25 billion kilos of garbage every year.
Many of this trash ends in landfill dumps, or incinerators. But what happens if those dumpsters are full? All that trash ends up being shipped out of country. It is then dumped in other countries, where it pollutes their ecosystems. But now, thanks to the work of one man, we know exactly where all this trash goes. Mike Sexton is his full name. He is the founder of Waste Watchers. He watches over trucks that transport trash across North America. He then reports back about what happens next.
Sexton claims he is very satisfied with his job. "We've got a lot of fun," he told CNN. "You know, we see these big rigs come through town, and we'll follow them. "Sexton started following truck driver almost 20 years back.
He stated, "I just fell in Love with It."
He loved the story of the driver who pulled into an abandoned gas station near Los Angeles. Sexton recalls, "The guy was searching for somewhere to put his loads." "He drove down the road to see this building. He pulled over and went in. "There was a pair of large, full-sized roll-off boxes. The man took all the stuff out and filled up his truck with more. "Then he took out everything and began to fill up the truck. There were many old tires, furniture, rags and mattresses. It was a complete mess. But it had been cleaned out before he came along. There wasn’t trash everywhere."
Why did this happen? The answer is that this location was once part of a recycling facility. People who knew about it would drive to this location to recycle their garbage. Sexton explained that they would bring household items and take them to the building. Then, after they were done, they would empty the containers.
You might see this happen hundreds of times a day. This could happen hundreds times per week. Finally, the truck stops running completely due to its excessive junk. The owner eventually decides to dump the truck.
However, trash is not the only problem on our planet.
These tiny plastic particles make up the majority of the particles. Some end up in incinerators or landfills. Others get washed into rivers or oceans. And when they reach the ocean, they often end up in the stomachs of fish.
Experts say if nothing changes, we could soon face a global food shortage. Experts warn that "if we keep going the way we are, we're not going make it," although scientists agree that the world is heading toward disaster. Most people, however, don't seem to be concerned.
What is the most intriguing fact about the human anatomy?
We have two eyes and two ears, two nostrils each, four limbs, four limbs and a penis. Yes, more than 50 parts to our bodies. But one thing is missing. A heart.
A heart is a pump that circulates blood throughout the body. The blood moves through the arteries and veins to transport oxygen and nutrients into the cells, and remove carbon dioxide.
Each minute, the heart pumps approximately 5 liters. This is equivalent to an adult consuming 2-3 cups of coffee per day.
Blood flows through the heart 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. While you are sleeping, your heart beats about 100 times per second.
Because of the color and texture of their skin, you can tell if someone is healthy or sick. Capillaries are tiny blood vessels visible on the skin's surface. These vessels carry blood back to the heart from the large blood vessels beneath the skin. When blood flow is blocked, the skin turns blue or purple.
People suffering from sickle cell disease have no red blood cells. Their blood becomes extremely sticky and hardened, which can lead to very serious illnesses.
If you cut yourself, a bandage is applied to stop the bleeding. For wounds to heal properly, blood must flow. To do this, doctors insert a needle through the skin into the vein next to the injury. This allows the blood from the injured area to drain.
Doctors can also insert catheters into the artery close to the area where the bloodclot has formed. This keeps the patient occupied until the clot is broken down naturally.
Is there an Hollywood blacklist?
There is a Hollywood blacklist.
The list isn’t available for public viewing. The names are not known to us. But here's why it matters.
The secretive nature of the information is due to the fact that actors and directors on blacklist won't be in a position to find work. They would go out of business which would mean that studios would lose their money. It would mean they would reduce their expenditure on movies. That would reduce the opportunities for blacklisted filmmakers. This would make them bankrupt.
This could eventually lead to more victims.
When someone tries making an Oscar winning movie they might be asked for a contract. This means that they can't publicly criticize their employer. For any producer or director that wants to be nominated, the same applies.
You hear stories of directors being pressured to remove scenes from films. Directors may threaten to quit projects that don’t align with their vision.
This is why there is a Hollywood blacklist. If you speak negatively about your employer, you will likely be fired. This is bad news for anyone.
The problem is that many people have been falsely accused. And they've had to fight to clear their name.
We need to stop this kind of thing before it starts happening again. We must ensure that everyone has the right to express themselves freely.
We need to get rid of Hollywood's blacklist.
