dark facts about life

Hidden Faces, a brand new game show, debuted on ABC May 3, 2014. The show replaced the long-running Let's Make a Deal on ABC. It aired also on CBS, but it did poorly and was canceled after six months. You're Putting Me On currently replaces the show.

Herri met de Bles painting

The Henri met de Bles picture is considered a Flemish Northern Renaissance work. This French painter was originally born in Dinant in France, near Joachim Patinir’s hometown Bouvignes. Although his name has been lost in time, it is assumed that he was a relative of Patinir. His paintings often include a landscape with small historical facts or scenes of the religious.

It is a work of art that was supposedly created in 1880 and has appeared in countless publications. FAQ

Do you wonder how much trash is produced each day across the globe?

According to the United Nations there are more than 25 billion tons of garbage produced each year.

Most of this rubbish ends up in landfills or incinerators. But, what happens when those dumpsters fill up? All that trash ends up being shipped out of country. The trash is then sent out of the country and dumped in countries where it pollutes ecosystems. But, one man has now discovered exactly where this rubbish goes. Mike Sexton is his full name. He is the owner of Waste Watchers. His job involves monitoring the movements and routes of trash trucks across North America. He then gives us a report on what happens next.

Sexton claims he is very satisfied with his job. CNN asked Sexton if he thought it was a lot of fun. "You know, we see these big rigs come through town, and we'll follow them. "Sexton began following truckers almost 20 year ago.

He said, "I fell in love with it."

His favorite story involved a driver who pulled off at an abandoned gas station near Los Angeles. Sexton recalls, "The guy was searching for somewhere to put his loads." "He saw the building as he drove down the road. He pulled over and went in. "There were two enormous roll-off containers filled with stuff. The man removed everything from the truck and started to load it again. "Then he took out everything and began to fill up the truck. There were lots of old tires, rags furniture, mattresses, mattresses, cans, cans, and other items. "It was just total chaos. But it had been cleaned out before he came along. There was not a single piece of trash.

So why did this happen? It's because this area used to be a recycle center. People would drive from all over the country to recycle their trash. Sexton explained that they would bring household items and take them to the building. Then, after they were done, they would empty the containers.

This can happen hundreds of times a week. The truck can be stopped running if it is so full of junk that it has to come back hundreds of times per week. And eventually, the owner decides to abandon the vehicle.

However, trash is not the only problem on our planet.

The majority of these particles are made of small pieces of plastic. Others end up in rivers, oceans or the stomachss of fish.

Experts warn that if there is no change, the world could soon be facing a food shortage. "If we keep going like we're going, we're not going to make it," one expert warned. But even though scientists agree that the world is headed toward disaster, most people don't seem worried.

Is there a Hollywood blacklist of actors?

There is an Hollywood blacklist.

But the list isn't made public. According to our knowledge, the names of these people aren't known. It matters because of this.

The secretive nature of the information is due to the fact that actors and directors on blacklist won't be in a position to find work. Thus, they would leave the industry and studios will lose money. Which means they'd cut back on spending money on movies. The blacklisted filmmakers would have fewer chances. This would make them bankrupt.

This could lead to more victims.

In short, when someone tries to make an oscar winning movie, they might be asked to sign a contract saying they won't speak publicly against their employers. For any producer or director that wants to be nominated, the same applies.

That's why you hear stories about how producers pressure directors to remove scenes from their films. Or directors threaten to walk out of projects that don’t match their vision.

This is why there is a Hollywood blacklist. If you speak negatively about your employer, you will likely be fired. That's bad for everyone.

The problem is that many people have been falsely accused. It's been a struggle to get their names cleared.

We need to stop this kind of thing before it starts happening again. We need to ensure everyone has the right of expression.

We must get rid of the Hollywood blacklist.

What is the most mysterious location on Earth?

Antarctica is the most mysterious continent on Earth.

We find this place so fascinating. Because it is unlike any place on Earth.

It is very remote and isolated. There is much more to this place than meets the eyes.

These wild animals are also found in this natural wonder.

Let's find out how this mysterious destination became so famous.

Antarctica: The South Pole

Antarctica is named for no one. Some believe it means "land of ice." Others believe it comes out of Greek mythology.

Antarktis was an ancient Greek name that was given to the island where Zeus and his twin brothers, Zeus. According to one source, one of the twins was conceived in winter. This is why the word "antarctic" was chosen.

Others believe the name was derived from the Greek words tropos, which means turn, and anti, meaning against. This would signify land turned away the sun.

Whatever the reason Antarctica has always been a fascination for people.

It is also the lowest, windiest continent, driest, and highest. It is too cold for trees, plants and animals.

Yet, the frozen desert is alive with life.

Here, 90 percent live of all species of living things. There are about 50% of the world's animal, plant and plant species.

What is Antarctica? Here, water freezes into ice instead of evaporating into the air.

This causes large masses to form of ice which float high above the ground.

These floating glaciers cover 80% of the continent. They continue to grow in size each year.

So far, the Antarctic ice sheet has grown 60 feet since 1960.

The sea level will rise up to 200 feet if melting continues. This could lead to widespread flooding.

This does not mean that everyone is wrong. Some scientists believe that global warming can be beneficial. They claim that the melting of ice sheets could accelerate as temperatures rise. This would lead to flooding that removes tons of toxic chemicals and soil from our bodies.

Others warn that this theory sounds like something out of a science-fiction movie.

These are five interesting facts about livers

The liver is responsible to detoxify toxins and store vitamins and minerals. It also regulates blood pressure, and maintains our body's temperature.

We hear it all the time: "I feel sluggish today" or "my head feels heavy". These symptoms could be signs of liver problems.

Other symptoms include itching, yellowing of the skin, heavy urine, yellowing of the skin, fatigue and nausea. These are not all the warning signs. If you experience any of them, make an appointment with your doctor immediately.

The liver is a vital organ. It is responsible for detoxification as well digestion, metabolism and immunity.

  1. An adult liver weighs around 1,400 grams.
  2. The size of a baby's liver at birth is approximately half that of an adult. It becomes about four times more large by the age of three than an infant's liver.
  3. The liver is located on the left side, just below your rib cage.
  4. The liver has 16 main lobes, with many smaller lobules within the lobes.
  5. Red blood cells make up approximately 10 million of the liver's total.

How To

Hollywood scandals that stunned the entire world

Nothing is more shocking than seeing someone famous for wrong reasons. It's even more frightening to see them fall from grace.

The best part is seeing how an industry reacts to its mistakes. We've all heard about celebrities who took too much alcohol and drugs. Some even died young because of it.

But the worst part is when those same stars go public with their problems and are shunned by everyone. That's where we found ourselves last week.

Heath Ledger, after a long and successful professional career, finally gave in to his demons. He took too many prescription pills and died shortly after.

His family and friends struggled to accept his passing, and the media had a field day bashing him publicly.

Heath was once one of the most gifted actors currently working. His performances in Brokeback Mountain earned Heath two Academy Award nominations.

In addition to acting, Heath also wrote and directed films, including A Knight's Tale, Monster's Ball, and Iron Man 3.

Hollywood loved Heath but he grew too large for his boots. He began using drugs and drinking heavily. He was eventually able to get clean and went to rehab.

He was now sober and wanted to make amends. He produced a documentary called Room 237 that documented the making process of The Shining. It was supposed that it would be released this year but it won't make its debut in theaters until next.

Every time Heath tried to get back into Hollywood, something happened. In fact, he was actually twice arrested for drug-related charges.

While we aren't saying Heath shouldn't have been allowed back in the show business, But it would have been nice to get some help before things spiralled out of control.

We hope Heath’s story serves as a cautionary tale for others who think they might still be able to have it all.
